Representations of Quasi–local quasi *–algebras and non–commutative integration

In this paper we are going to continue the analysis undertaken in [1] and [2] about the investigation on Quasi-local quasi *-algebras and their structure. Our aim is to show that any *-semisimple Quasi-local quasi *-algebra (A,A0) can be represented as a class of non-commutative L1-spaces.
Common fixed point results on quasi-Banach spaces and integral equations

In this paper we obtain fixed and common fixed point theorems for self-mappings defined on a closed and convex subset C of a quasi-Banach space. We give also a constructive method for finding the common fixed points of the involved mappings. As an application we obtain a result of the existence of solutions of integral equations.
Quasi-Continuous Vector Fields on RCD Spaces

In the existing language for tensor calculus on RCD spaces, tensor fields are only defined $\mathfrak {m}$ -a.e.. In this paper we introduce the concept of tensor field defined ‘2-capacity-a.e.’ and discuss in which sense Sobolev vector fields have a 2-capacity-a.e. uniquely defined quasi-continuous representative.
Quasi-local quasi -algebras of measurable operators

In this paper we will continue the analysis undertaken in [1] and in [2] our investigation on the structure of Quasi-local quasi *-algebras. In this paper it is shown that any Quasi-local quasi -algebras (A;A_0), can be represented as a class of Banach C-modules called CQ-algebra of measurable operators in Segal's sense.
On Commuting Quasi-Nilpotent Operators that are Injective

Banach space operators that commute with an injective quasi-nilpotent operator, 11 such as the Volterra operator, inherit spectral and Fredholm properties, relating in 12 particular to the Weyl spectra.

Analisi statistica delle concentrazioni in aria di 7Be e 210Pb misurate a Palermo.

Vengono analizzati e discussi i risultati delle misure, effettuate con cadenza quasi giornaliera, delle concentrazioni in aria a Palermo di 7Be (1982-2005) e 210Pb (1995-2005). In particolare è esaminato l’andamento dei rapporti di attività dei due radionuclidi relativamente al periodo di disponibilità congiunta dei dati al fine di evidenziare possibili correlazioni tra i due radionuclidi e con i dati meteo-climatici locali. Il 7Be (tempo di dimezzamento 53,29 giorni) è il prodotto dell’interazione dei raggi cosmici con nuclei di azoto ed ossigeno. In this paper some properties of continuous representable linear functionals on a quasi $*$-algebra are investigated. Moreover we give properties of operators acting on a Hilbert algebra, whose role will reveal to be crucial for proving a Radon-Nikodym type theorem for positive linear functionals.
The effect of Water on passive cooling systems in the Arab-Norman architecture of the Zisa Palace in Palermo

This paper shows the theories argued by some historians with reference to the working of natural water passive cooling systems employed in the Zisa Complex. Albeit such theories are seminal attempts to understand passive water systems, they have no scientific evidence. This study instead concentrates on a more rigorous treatment that enabled to set up a robust framework for designing a historical water passive system such as the Salsabil, which in fact was conceived and developed in an empirical way. Some notes on a second-order random boundary value problem

We consider a two-point boundary value problem of second-order random differential equation. Using a variant of the α-ψ-contractive type mapping theorem in metric spaces, we show the existence of at least one solution.
