The c-erbB-2 mRNA was detected by the S1 nuclease protection assay and Northern blotting in breast cancer tissues. In contrast to the Northern blot analysis which has been used in all recent publications concerning c-erbB-2 expression on the level of RNA, the S1-nuclease protection assay has distinct advantages with respect to sensitivity, reproducibility, and handling of radioactive probes. Abstract We observed ten children with a papular eruption with purpuric features during the SARS‐CoV‐2 pandemic in Northern Italy (May‐December 2020). Histological examination showed signs of SARS‐CoV‐2‐related dermatosis. Evidence of nucleocapsid viral proteins using SARS‐CoV‐2 (2019‐nCoV) nucleocapsid antibody revealed cuticular staining of the deep portion of the eccrine glands in all cases.

A striking feature of cellular blue nevus consists in the presence, in its histologic picture, of numerous hypertrophic nerves and nerve-like figures, positive for histochemical and immunohistochemical methods for nerve fibers and myelin sheaths. Digital skin of human fetuses is known to contain a particularly high concentration of Merkel cells. Using antibodies against the simple epithelial cytokeratins (CK) 18 and 20, which are sensitive and specific Merkel cell markers, we studied immunohistochemically the main adnexal structure of digital skin, the nail anlage, in human fetuses (9-22 weeks of gestation) for the presence of Merkel cells. As early as week 9 some clustered Merkel cells were detected in the early matrix primordium. A multispectral imaging approach for diagnostics of skin pathologies

Noninvasive multispectral imaging method was applied for different skin pathology such as nevus, basal cell carcinoma, and melanoma diagnostics. Developed melanoma diagnostic parameter, using three spectral bands (540 nm, 650 nm and 950 nm), was calculated for nevus, melanoma and basal cell carcinoma. Simple multispectral diagnostic device was established and applied for skin assessment. Development and application of multispectral diagnostics method described further in this article.
