In chronic diseases, a correct diagnosis and access to the most appropriate treatments are not sufficient to ensure an improved clinical condition. The patient’s compliance with a treatment regimen is a crucial, though often neglected step for achieving and maintaining over time outcomes that would otherwise be unattainable, first of all the disease control. Asthma is a multifactorial condition and, for this reason, its poor management might cause an altered quality of life and a significant increase in healthcare costs. New technologies offer valuable support to both patients and healthcare workers, allowing for therapeutic monitoring and ongoing assistance.
School-related stress among sixth-grade students : Associations with academic buoyancy and temperament

The present study examined to what extent sixth-grade students' academic buoyancy and temperament contributed to their school-related stress. A total of 845 students rated their school-related stress at the beginning and end of the school year and their academic buoyancy at the beginning of the year. Parents rated students' effortful control and negative affectivity. The results showed that high academic buoyancy, high effortful control, and low negative affectivity at the beginning of the school year were related to lower school-related stress at the end of the school year, after controlling for gender, GPA, and previous level of stress. Research suggests that bullying does occur in kindergarten. The extent of bullying in Norway and other Scandinavian countries is estimated to be about 12 %. The purpose of this study is to investigate children’s understanding and experiences of bullying. We use a qualitative approach and have conducted individual interviews and focus group interviews with a total of 31 children, 5 year-olds, in 4 different kindergartens. Additionally, observations were made of 4–5 year-olds in the same kindergartens, 142 children in total. The results show that the children describe bullying as doing or saying “something mean”. This study examined the developmental trajectories of light (LPA) and moderate-to-vigorous physical activity (MVPA) in fitness profiles derived from motor competence, perceived motor competence, health-related fitness, and MVPA behaviour. This study investigated the relationships between sexual (verbal and non-verbal sexual harassment) and physical violence against physical education (PE) teachers and work-related stress. Participants were 175 (females 122, males 53) Finnish PE teachers aged between 27 and 62 years.
