Bakalaura darba mērķis ir noskaidrot, vai pastāv saistība starp sieviešu pašcieņu un apmierinātības ar pāra attiecībām un pašbilžu publicēšanu sociālajos tīklos. Pētījumā piedalījās 52 respondenti ( sievietes), vecumā no 25 līdz 35 gadiem (M= 27,65; SD= 3,79), kuras ir pāra attiecībās. Lai noskaidrotu respondentu vispārējās pašcieņas līmeni jeb kopējo izjūtu par savu vērtību, tika izmantota Rozenberga pašcieņas aptauja (Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale; Rosenberg, 1965). Background: Drowning is a major public health issue, with risk increasing during times of flood. Driving into floodwater is a major risk factor for flood-related drowning and injury, and despite widespread public health campaigns, many people continue to undertake this risky behaviour and require rescue. Purpose: We aimed to identify key challenges faced by emergency services personnel when rescuing those who have driven into floodwater, and to identify strategies for supporting rescuers in this important role. Following the money? : Performance based funding and the changing publication patterns of Finnish academics

Research on how performance-based funding influences the behaviour and performance of academics is limited in Europe. In this study, we investigate the changing publication patterns among Finnish academics associated with the introduction of awarding funding for publications within specific journals in the national performance-based funding model. We find evidence, particularly in the social sciences, and to a lesser extent humanities, that Finnish academics increasingly target international (English-language) publication outlets and lower-tiered journals. Trauksme publiskās uzstāšanās laikā vīriešiem un sievietēm un to saistība ar personības iezīmē.

Pētījuma mērķis bija izpētīt trauksmi publiskās uzstāšanās laikā vīriešiem un sievietēm un to saistību ar personības iezīmēm. Piedalījās 60 respondenti (31 sieviete un 29 vīrieši, tajā skaitā 34skolēni un 26 strādājošie). Pētījumā tika izmantota Spīlbergera trauksmes aptauja (State-Traid Anxiety Inventory / STAI/ Spilberger, 1983) ar pielāgotu instrukciju un Lielā Piecnieka aptauja (Big Five Inventory, BFI, Benet-Martines & John, 1998). Aptauju rezultāti liecināja, ka nepastāv dzimumatšķirības trauksmē publiskas uzstāšanās laikā.
