The research aim of the article is to determine the legal rules related to marriage in the earliest writings of the primary Christianity, that is dated to the post-apostolic period and to the activities of the apologists of the IIth century. The research query indicated that the writers of the post-apostolic period put more emphasis on maintaining by the spouses harmonious relationships between each other, preserving evangelical recommendations and gaining moral virtues. This paper is an attempt to indicate the reasons why a theologian should be interested in other sciences. The openness of the Church towards science is a relevant issue for Christian faith. Its justification today is in a climate of scientific thinking, in which scientific tools of recognising of the world, as well as the scientific picture of the world play an important role. This article will demonstrate the following: 1) the ecclesial reason; 2) the educational reason; (3) the anthropological reason; (4) the ecological reason;(5) the scientifical reason; (6) the kerygmatic-pastoral reason.
Catholic Religious Practices Questionnaire (CRPQ): Construction and Analysis of Psychometric Properties

Members of the Catholic Church express their faith in a variety of manners, in general with a focus on liturgical and popular forms of piety. This article provided construction and initial validation for a brief questionnaire to measure Catholic religious practices. The authors used Sample 1 (n = 219) for exploratory factor analysis and Sample 2 (n = 181) for confirmatory factor analysis and to test the validity of a new scale. The author examines the solidity of royal patronage in Sicily and proposes to revise the usual observation of a balance between Sicilians and Spanish in the appointments to bishoprics under Charles II. His thorough examination of these appointments, taking into account the naturalization of foreigners, shows the extent of the monarch’s power over the Sicilian Church.
