Despite awareness of campaigns such as ‘Turn Around, Don’t Drown’ and the Australian state of Queensland’s ‘If It’s Flooded, Forget It’, people continue to drive through floodwaters, causing loss of life, risk to rescuers, and damage to vehicles. In the contexts where people with intellectual disability work, there are factors that determine their job satisfaction. The objective of this study was to test the adequacy of the central assumptions of the Job Demands–Resources (JD-R) theory in workers with intellectual disability employed in different work alternatives. Bezpieczeństwo socjalne jednostki stanowi jedną z kluczowych kategorii polityki społecznej. Jawi się ono jako wolność od zagrożeń powodujących brak lub niedostatek środków niezbędnych do zaspokojenia podstawowych potrzeb życiowych jednostki. Zapewnienie bezpieczeństwa socjalnego społeczeństwa i jego członków stanowi jedno z podstawowych zadań państwa. W tym zakresie uwidacznia się rola zabezpieczenia społecznego, zwłaszcza w kontekście koncepcji państwa opiekuńczego i państwa gwarantującego. W kontekście normatywnym kluczowe znaczenie ma konstytucyjne prawo do zabezpieczenia społecznego. Stanowi bowiem podstawę gwarancji podjęcia przez państwo działań zapewniających bezpieczeństwo socjalne.

The study reports on a chariot tomb excavated in 1985 at Les Craises in Molinons (Yonne). Set in an adventitious position in the midst of a monument with three quadrangular enclosures, the grave was of an adult of undetermined sex. Despite later pillaging, the goods found in this aristocratic tomb permit a dating to the second quarter of the 5th century BC, and an unusual cultural attribution, on the frontier in the Parisian Basin between the Jura culture to the south and the Marne-Moselle culture to the north.

Attieksmes pret ēšanu un kodola afekta saistība ar apēstā ēdiena daudzumu

Bakalaura darba mērķis bija veikt izpēti par kodola afekta, apēstā ēdiena daudzuma un ēšanas traucējumu pazīmju saistībām. Eksperimentāla dizaina pētījums tika veikts 18-55 gadus vecu sieviešu grupā (vidējais vecums 23,81 gadi), piedaloties 43 dalībniecēm. Eksperimentā ar video fragmenta palīdzību tika radītas izmaiņas kodola afektā, padarot to negatīvāku un deaktīvāku, pēc tam piedāvājot uzdevuma ietvaros ēst šokolādi un aizpildīt Aptauju par attieksmi pret ēšanu. Ievākto datu analīze apstiprināja, ka nepastāv statistiski nozīmīgas saistības starp apēstā ēdiena daudzumu un kodola afekta stāvokli, kā arī ēšanas traucējumu pazīmes nav saistītas ar kodola afekta rādītājiem.
