Surface modification of poly(ethylene-co-acrylic acid) with amino-functionalized silica nanoparticles

In this work we studied the possibility to achieve a hybrid-surface through the modification, via a facile wet chemical process, of the surface of films of poly(ethylene-co-acrylic acid) (EAA) with amino-modified silica nanoparticles. Films of EAA were preliminarily activated by the introduction of -COCl groups on their surface. Silica nanoparticles were thereafter covalently bound on the polymeric surface as confirmed by FTIR, ATR-FTIR, XPS, NMR and SEM determinations. Transportlīdzekļa vadītājs, kuram nav transportlīdzekļa vadīšanas tiesību, atrodoties jebkurā no minētajiem stāvokļiem, ir saucams pie kriminālatbildības. Savukārt transportlīdzekļa vadītājs ar transportortlīdzekļa vadīšanas tiesībām – pie administratīvās atbildības. Tematem mojego artykułu jest problem używek przedstawiony w Matce Stanisława Ignacego Witkiewicza. Nadużywanie alkoholu i narkotyków, służące złagodzeniu bólu istnienia to - w kontekście omawianego utworu - zagłuszanie metafizycznych lęków nie tylko prezentowanych w nim postaci, ale także samego autora. Na przykładzie inscenizacji Jerzego Jarockiego z Teatru Starego w Krakowie opisuję złożoność relacji postaci, które dławiąc się własnym cierpieniem, popadają w nałogi. Zarówno dramat, jak i jego teatralna konkretyzacja stanowią laboratorium udręki wzajemnego bytowania, studium destrukcyjnej siły rodzinnych związków. Tutaj wszystko może się zdarzyć i na pewno będzie na „nie".

Starting from a presentation of the phenomenon of intimate partner violence and of its various possible forms, this paper presents an overview of the most recent theoretical contributions on the topic, the dynamics of abuse in the couple and the main psychodynamic aspects that explain the possible manifestations and peculiarities of the effects of violence, both from the point of view of the abuser and the victim. Position specific physical demands in different phases of competitive matches in national level women’s football

The purpose of the present study was twofold: to investigate position-specific physical match demands of national level women’s football; and to examine if demands change during a match (comparison between first and second half and in 15-minute intervals). Seven teams from the Finnish National League participated in the study. Eighty-five players met the inclusion criteria, and a total of 340 individual match observations from 68 individual matches were included for analysis. Tässä tutkielmassa tarkastellaan Saksassa kesän 2006 jalkapallon maailmanmestaruuskisojen yhteydessä käytyä kansallisuuskeskustelua. Keskeisenä teemana tutkielmassa on nationalismi ja sen kuuluminen nykyeurooppalaiseen arkeen perustavanlaatuisella tavalla. Nationalismia ylläpidetään arkipäivässä erilaisten käytänteiden ja huomaamattomien muistutusten kautta. Näin se muodostaa perustavanlaatuisen osan elämää kansallisvaltioissa.
