I chinazolinoni sono composti eterociclici azotati che, insieme alle chinazoline, rappresentano degli importanti farmacofori in possesso di un ampio spettro di proprietà biologiche tra cui quella antitumorale. Recentemente sono stati riportati in letteratura dei derivati 4-chinazolinonici in grado di inibire in vitro l’enzima diidrofolato reduttasi (DHFR) con IC50 comprese tra 0.4 e 1.0 µM [1]. Connections of the West Pacific subtropical high and some hydroclimatic regimes in China with Antarctic ice-snow indices

On the basis of 10 years monthly and long-term annual data the importance of the antarctic ice-snow cover and correlated indices has been discussed. By computing time-lag correlation analyses of the ice-snow indices and different atmospheric indices of the northern hemisphere and some hydroclimatic regimes in China, it could be shown that a close relationship between sea-ice in the Antarctic and the intensity and area indices of the subtropical West Pacific high exists. It was also possible to prove a close relationship between antarctic ice-snow indices and the annual run-off of the Yellow River at Sanmenxia, and between rainfall over North China and the lower sections of the Yellow river.

The article traces mixed affiliations of the narrator of Maxine Hong Kingston’s The Woman Warrior (1976), permanently split between the world of Chinatown and broader American society outside Chinatown, both places crucial for the narrator in the on-going process of subjectivity construction. While both of these worlds constantly interpellate her, each of them entails a fair measure of hindrance and empowerment. The article undermines the criticism leveled at Kingston’s The Woman Warrior by a section of the Chinese American community represented primarily by Frank Chin. In 1872 the Shanghai-based newspaper Shenbao described an invention by Giovanni Caselli that allowed the production of telegraphic messages containing Chinese characters, the ‘pantelegraph’, an ancestor of the fax, reproducing manu- scripts, images and symbols, and, as such, totally suitable for Chinese telegraphy. 我们都知道意大利与中国在文化、经济、政治等领域交流非常丰富。这是罗马智慧大学传统研 究领域，而且很多意大利的研究人员通过分析各类文学作品(特别是耶稣会传教士与中国学者的 科学、地理学作品与旅游日记)来研究这些交流的不同方面及其结构。可是迄今为止，还没有任何 一部论著从中国近代报刊来研究意大利。正是因此，我选择了晚清时期《申报》中对意大利形象的 分析作为我博士论文的选题，即《晚清报刊中的意大利形象分析——案例分析(1872-1912)》。 而本文所讨论的主题便是我的博士论文研究的一部分。 在西方社会中报纸具有一种重要的任务，而从 19 世纪起，西方商人与传教士在中国推进了新 闻传播的发展，所以清末时期的外文与中文报刊很多，然而很少有报刊具有《申报》那样长的历史， 也很少有报刊产生了如同《申报》般重要的影响。
Organic carbon and nitrogen stable isotopes in the intertidal sediments from the Yangtze Estuary, China

The natural isotopic compositions and C/N elemental ratios of sedimentary organic matter were determined in the intertidal flat of the Yangtze Estuary. The results showed that the ratios of carbon and nitrogen stable isotopes were respectively -29.8 per thousand to -26.0 per thousand and 1.6 per thousand-5.5 per thousand in the flood season (July), while they were -27.3 per thousand to -25.6 per thousand and 1.7 per thousand-7.8 per thousand in the dry season (February), respectively.
