Although the assessment of body water compartments is of great diagnostic value, appropriate methods are not readily available for routinely clinical application. Bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) is a safe, noninvasive, rapid and highly reproducible procedure that is strongly influenced by body water and intra-/extracellular distribution. Four-hundred-fifty-six adults (224 males and 232 females) were enrolled and divided in subgroups on the basis of the presence of obesity and diabetes (type 1 and type 2). L’article traite de façon technique le travail réalisé sur le projet Arena Nanterre (projet de Christian de Portzamparc) à Paris dans le cadre d’une mission de BIM (Building Information Model). Notre engagement était d’aider tous les intervenants à concevoir et construire autrement le bâtiment grâce à la maquette numérique. Celle-ci a évolué et a été mise à jour tout au long des études pour permettre, d’un côté, un partage réel et instantané des informations et, de l’autre, une optimisation du projet en termes techniques, économiques ou encore de gestion. Abstract Present work deals with the topic of building integration of solar thermal collector (BIST) as a refurbishment measure. Such equipment, more than its main function as heating generator, plays a specific role as a building component (envelope finishes, thermal insulation layer, roof cover etc). Consequently, from a heat transfer point of view, an integrated component affects twice the global building balance: supporting the thermal plant (i.e. providing heat for final uses) and modifying the wall heat-transfer pattern (i.e. reducing thermal losses). This study describes construction features typical of masonry buildings in the historic centre of Alcamo, Sicily. This local context is significant for the extent of the historic building stock and for the large use of travertine as traditional masonry material. The local availability of this rock is a peculiarity of Alcamo, in comparison with the rest of Sicily, and its use explains the originality of several construction details. The analysis exposed in this study is part of a wider research, aimed at developing a Sicilian database of mechanical and hygrothermal data for masonry tipologies.
