L'articolo presenta "Le Linee guida per la valutazione di aziende sequestrate e confiscate" alla criminalità organizzata, evidenziando alcuni criteri per guidare la scelta del metodo di valutazione appropriato e suggerendo l'inclusione di una prospettiva di stakeholder negli studi di valutazione aziendale. The article presents "The Guidelines for the business valuation of seized and confiscated firms” from the organized crime, by pointing out some criteria to guide the selection of the appropriate valuation method and suggesting the inclusion of a stakeholder perspective in the business valuation studies.

Le linee guida mirano ad analizzare le specificità delle aziende sequestrate e confiscate ai fini del processo di stima del valore di tali delicate realtà aziendali, esaltando in particolare come l’applicazione del metodo valutativo costituisca solo una fase del più ampio processo di stima, che deve necessariamente considerare elementi qualitativi, ma anche quantitativi di difficile ponderazione.

The role of regional competitiveness in shaping the heterogeneous impact of the Great Recession

This paper assesses the employment resilience of 202 European regions to the Great Recession by investigating the role of regional competitiveness. By using the regional shift component derived from a multiple bases shift–share analysis of employment change as a measure of regional endogenous employment growth, we show that pre‐crisis regional competitiveness determinants are associated with positive performances during the crisis period. However, the variables considered explain well the different vulnerability of the economies, but less convincingly the ability to recover. Background This article uses the logistic regression model for diagnostic decision making in patients with chronic nasal symptoms. We studied the ability of the logistic regression model, obtained by the evaluation of a database, to detect patients with positive allergy skin-prick test (SPT) and patients with negative SPT. The model developed was validated using the data set obtained from another medical institution. Methods The analysis was performed using a database obtained from a questionnaire administered to the patients with nasal symptoms containing personal data, clinical data, and results of allergy testing (SPT).
