Exploring positive online customer experience formation : a study of food waste shoppers

This qualitative study investigates the formation of positive online customer experiences in the context of online grocery shopping. This study analyzes customers’ written descriptions of the causes of their positive experiences when visiting an online store. Data were collected with an online survey of 581 respondents. The case company is a Finnish online retailer, Fiksuruoka Ltd. Fiksuruoka’s business idea is to sell food waste; its product range consists of surplus groceries that are in danger of being disposed of. The physicochemical characteristics of phycocyanin extracted from cyanobacteria collected in Kaunas Lagoon were studied (spectrum characteristics, C-PC content in the dry mass and chemical purity). It was determined that the tested concentrations of C-PC in purified water should be in the range of 0.02–0.16% for measuring C-PC content in the dry mass and its spectrum characteristics. The two clear absorption maxima were detected in the spectrum of C-PC at the wavelengths of 277 and 619 nm. The content of C-PC in the dry powder form was in the range of 7.25% to 9.30% depending on its concentration in the solution and type of spectrophotometer. L’articolo analizza l’evoluzione normativa che ha caratterizzato, negli ultimi anni, la disciplina del capitale sociale della s.r.l. attraverso la previsione di diverse varianti di società con capitale ridotto (i.e., la s.r.l.s., la s.r.l.c.r. e, da ultimo, la nuova s.r.l. sottocapitalizzata ai sensi dell’art. 2463, commi 4 e 5, c.c.). Particolare attenzione è dedicata ai problemi interpretativi derivanti dal mancato coordinamento delle nuove norme con la disciplina delle operazioni sul capitale sociale; quest’ultima, rimasta immutata nel suo testo originario, pone l’interprete di fronte ad una difficoltosa ed incerta attività di ricostruzione sistematica.
Olfactory cues and the value of information : Voles interpret cues differently based on recent predator encounters

Prey strategically respond to the risk of predation by varying their behavior while balancing the tradeoffs of food and safety. We present here an experiment that tests the way the same indirect cues of predation risk are interpreted by bank voles, Myodes glareolus, as the game changes through exposure to a caged weasel. Using optimal patch use, we asked wild-caught voles to rank the risk they perceived. We measured their response to olfactory cues in the form of weasel bedding, a sham control in the form of rabbit bedding, and an odor-free control. Backgroundand aim: Autosomal recessive hypercholesterolemia (ARH) is a rare autosomal recessive disorder of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) metabolism caused by pathogenic variants in the LDLRAP1 gene. Like homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia, ARH is resistant to conventional LDL-lowering medications and causes a high risk of atherosclerotic cardiovascular diseases (ASCVDs) and aortic valve stenosis.
