[EN] Within the context of UPV’s project for improving the learning process through innovation, the TASCA group has developed and applied different strategies to assess student’s out-of-class work. This work has allowed us to collect feedback from proposed out-of-class activities, like whether the deadlines for assignments have been under or overestimated, or students’ opinion, to improve thos activities. We have test the usefulness of these strategies in nine different degrees. In general, there is a great variability in the time students devote to a given task and, in some cases, no positive correlation is observed between that time and the obtained results. [EN] The aim of this work was to assess whether the use of innovative methods, learner-centered, improved the learning approaches of university students. The study was developed with two students groups of 1st year (N = 112), from the degree of Pedagogy at the University of Valencia. A preexperimental pretest-posttest design was used with measures by means of the R-SPQ-2 questionnaire (Biggs, Kember and Leung, 2001). [EN] In this paper we present a learning experience in which for the first time we introduce cinema as a teaching methodology in a higher level accounting course to explore the concept of ethical sensitivity. Our study shows that the ethical sensitivity achieved with the viewing of the film positively impacts the student's grade. The students most satisfied with this learning methodology were the ones who got a good answer for the question on ethics in the questionnaire- which would imply a greater ethical motivation and ethical character. [EN] In the present communication an strategy based on the Puzzle of Aronson has been applied to promote the cooperation in working groups in the tutorials of Food Additives course of the Degree in Science and Food Technology in the University of Valencia. This tool allows the training of transversal skills in the classroom such as: social and communication skills, decision making, and conflict resolution. A rubric has been applied to evaluate the cooperative work process and the obtained results have been discussed. Finally, we include data on the student satisfaction with the proposed activity through the completion of a survey.

[EN] University students of experimental sciences degrees usually go to the laboratory of practices without having prepared the corresponding activity. This fact leads to a poor preparation of them translated into an effective loss of time available for experimentation, and a reduced acquisition of knowledge and skills, among other aspects. Material multimedia para aumentar el rendimiento académico de los trabajos en grupo

[EN] Multimedia can be considered a useful tool for improving the learning. In this study we analyze the marks that students get in a group activity with and without the use of a multimedia material made by teachers. The scores are obtained using a rubric previously tested for this activity and the results show an increase in the final qualification for student groups who used the multimedia material. We also analyze the scores by units following the rubric and we note that scores increase 4.0 points for a maximum of 10 in the methodology unit. [EN] The innovative teaching project described in this document was carried out in the subject Theory of Physical Education and Sport, belonging to the Physical Activity and Sport Sciences Degree (Miguel Hernández University of Elche). The project consisted in the use of a teaching blog to foster critical thinking and the ability of oral and written expression. The participation in the blog was related to a voluntary task which let the students increase their final mark in the subject.
