Curricula, influenced by the digitalization, set requirements for early childhood education (ECE) settings to implement digital practices. However, ECE teachers are struggling to integrate information and communication technology (ICT) and child-centered pedagogy, such as digital portfolios, successfully into practice. Previous research efforts have focused on analyzing the barriers of digital technology implementation. Tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli selvittää mikä on esiopetusikäiselle lapselle merkityksellistä fyysisessä varhaiskasvatusympäristössä. Millainen esiope-tuksen varhaiskasvatusympäristö on lapsen silmin, ja mitä lapsi arvostaa oppimisympäristössä. Tutkin myös sitä, kohtaavatko lapsen näkemys ja ohjaavien asiakirjojen antama ohjeistus oppimisympäristöstä. Tutkimusaineisto kerättiin pyytämällä lapsia valokuvaamaan päiväkodissaan mieluisia ja epämieluisia paikkoja. Kuvien kehittämisen jälkeen lapset osallistuivat ryhmähaastatteluun, jossa selvitettiin kuvattujen ympäristöjen merkityksiä lapsille. Background Copper(II) is a heavy metal whose levels have increased in some marine ecosystems to polluting levels. Dinoflagellates, an important phytoplankton group, are at the base of aquatic food chains and bioaccumulation of copper by these microorganisms can result in complex ecosystem alterations, so we investigated how copper disturbs those cells. Medicinal plants have been used as a source of remedies since ancient times in Egypt. The present study was designed to investigate the antibacterial activity and the cytotoxicity of the organic extracts from 16 selected medicinal plants of Egypt. The study was also extended to the isolation of the antiproliferative compound jaeschkeanadiol p-hydroxybenzoate (FH-25) from Ferula hermonis.
