Caratteristiche sismostratigrafiche di strutture sedimentarie diagnostiche di correnti di fondo nell'off-shore del Golfo di Taranto

L’analisi integrata di dati multibeam e sismici ad altissima risoluzione (Chirp Sub-Bottom), acquisiti in un settore del Golfo di Taranto (Mare Ionio), ha permesso di identificare e classificare strutture sedimentarie diagnostiche di correnti di fondo (conturiti), formatesi nel tardo Quaternario. La classificazione proposta è basata sia su criteri sismo-stratigrafici che sulla comparazione con strutture analoge documentate da precedenti autori nei bacini oceanici [Faugeres et al., 1999 con rif.]. Il versante Ionico del Golfo di Taranto è caratterizzato dalla presenza di alti strutturali e bacini che rappresentano l’espressione morfologica di sistemi di faglie pleistoceniche transpressive. La dorsale di Amendolara si estende per 45 Km in direzione N130°E, ed è caratterizzato dalla presenza di tre alti batimetrici minori (denominati Amendolara, Rossano e Cariati). Verso NE, la dorsale di Capo Spulico si estende per 40 Km in direzione !N115°E. La campagna oceanografica “Teatioca” è il frutto della collaborazione fra l’Istituto per l’Ambiente Marino Costiero (IAMC) di Napoli, l’Università Federico II di Napoli, l’Università di Palermo e Trieste e l’INGV di Roma. Durante tale campagna, effettuata a bordo della N/O Urania del CNR nel 2011, sono stati acquisiti dati batimetrici multibeam ad alta risoluzione ed una fitta maglia di dati sismici ad alta (Sparker) ed altissima (Chirp) risoluzione nell’area ionica del Golfo di Taranto. Non-Markovian Dynamics of a Qubit Due to Single-Photon Scattering in a Waveguide

We investigate the open dynamics of a qubit due to scattering of a single photon in an infinite or semi-infinite waveguide. Through an exact solution of the time-dependent multi-photon scattering problem, we find the qubit's dynamical map. Tools of open quantum systems theory allow us then to discuss the general features of this map, find the corresponding non-Linbladian master equation, and assess in a rigorous way its non-Markovian nature. The qubit dynamics has distinctive features that, in particular, do not occur in emission processes. Motivations, engagement and adoption of e-WOM in restaurants.

Resumen El objetivo del presente trabajo fue estudiar el efecto que tienen las motivaciones para consultar y escribir e-WOM sobre el compromiso con el e-WOM y la influencia de dicho compromiso en la adopción del e-WOM consultado. Para analizar estas relaciones, se realizó una investigación empírica aplicada en el contexto de los restaurantes. El ámbito geográfico fue Ecuador, con una muestra de 461 consumidores. Se utilizó un modelo de ecuaciones estructurales y se validó la cadena de relaciones. ¿Cómo afecta la innovación en la satisfacción y la lealtad hacia el establecimiento minorista?

Resumen En el presente estudio, se examinó el concepto de innovación en el sector minorista y se definieron sus relaciones con otras variables, como la satisfacción y la lealtad, tradicionalmente vinculadas con el establecimiento minorista. Para lograr los objetivos planteados, se delimitó un modelo teórico sustentado en la literatura, que se contrastó mediante un estudio empírico utilizando un cuestionario estructurado ad hoc aplicado a una muestra de 510 clientes de establecimientos de alimentación. Empowerment comes at a time when global competition and change require people to take initiative and be innovative. Based on the active, persistent, and change-oriented behaviors associated with psychological empowerment, the chapter states that empowerment can contribute to entrepreneurship. The dimensions of empowerment that suggest a theoretical and empirical link with entrepreneurial behavior are discussed. Economic Support during the COVID Crisis. Quantitative Easing and Lending Support Schemes in the UK

Abstract We investigate how UK bank business lending responded to the simultaneous use of quantitative easing, leverage ratio capital requirements, and government COVID lending support schemes. We find no evidence that the Brexit wave increased lending to nonfinancial businesses, compared to the previous waves, except for QE-banks subject to the UK leverage ratio, suggesting that the ratio incentivised QE-banks to lend to businesses. The government schemes helped expand lending especially to SMEs post the COVID wave, indicating that complementing QE with other credit easing programmes can reinforce its impact on lending to the real economy.
