"Popiel i Piast" Mieczysława Romanowskiego w dokumentacji genezy
2020
The tragedy of Mieczysław Romanowski Popiel i Piast, published in 1862, was enthusiastically received by critics in the second half of the 19th century as a testimony to a realistic overthrow of the primacy of Romantic aesthetics in depicting the legendary prehistory of the Polish nation. The preserved handwritten documentation of the genesis of the work, previously viewed randomly and through the prism of its printed version, analyzed using genetic critique methods, reveals the author’s original ideas – closer to the “used” forms of romanticism – and breakthrough moments in shaping the presented world, characters and conflicts of the drama.

EUROMEDITERRANEAN BIOMEDICAL JOURNAL: THE RENEWED MANUSCRIPT LAYOUT AND WEB RENDERING FORESHADOW FURTHER JOURNAL IMPROVEMENT.
2017
In January 2006, a new journal, Capsula Eburnea, was born into the Italian scientific publishing scene with the initial goal of creating, at the same time, “an open scientific forum and a blog”, based on the premise that “in medicine, nothing should be considered stable, immutable or unsusceptible to critical review at any time, by any scientist”. The Editorial Team progressively sought to improve the quality of the manuscripts published, introducing the requirement for all articles to be written in English, and changed the Journal’s name to EuroMediterranean Biomedical Journal in 2012. Over the last five years, approximately 125 articles by young doctors (including original articles, revie…
‘The Source of Damasus’ Inquiry on the Proper Time to Celebrate Mass in London, British Library, Stowe 944 and in London, British Library, Cotton Cal…
2011
This is the first thorough study of a text occurring in two Anglo-Saxon manuscripts. The Latin source of the Old English text preserved in mss. London, BL, Stowe 944 and London, BL, Egerton 3314, fols. 9-72 + Cotton Caligula A xv, fols. 120-53 (Cameron B.12.10) was unknown. The essay provides evidence for the OE text being a translation of a Latin text on liturgical questions. This discovery allows understanding the very nature of the OE work, fosters its correct classification and provides a rationale for its collocation in the two Anglo-Saxon mss. Conceived as a dialogue between pope Damasus and Jerome on the hour of the mass, the OE text turns out to be a translation of one of the short …

Jakiego "Sokratesa" nie wystawili Lenartowiczowi aktorzy warszawscy w 1884 roku?
2022
