An elementary formula for computing shape derivatives of EFIE system matrix

We derive analytical shape derivative formulas of the system matrix representing electric field integral equation discretized with Raviart-Thomas basis functions. The arising integrals are easy to compute with similar methods as the entries of the original system matrix. The results are compared to derivatives computed with automatic differentiation technique and finite differences, and are found to be in excellent agreement.

Guaranteed error control bounds for the stabilised space-time IgA approximations to parabolic problems

The paper is concerned with space-time IgA approximations of parabolic initial-boundary value problems. We deduce guaranteed and fully computable error bounds adapted to special features of IgA approximations and investigate their applicability. The derivation method is based on the analysis of respective integral identities and purely functional arguments. Therefore, the estimates do not contain mesh-dependent constants and are valid for any approximation from the admissible (energy) class. Beginning in 2014 March, the OSIRIS (Optical, Spectroscopic, and Infrared Remote Imaging System) cameras began capturing images of the nucleus and coma (gas and dust) of comet 67P/Churyumov¿Gerasimenko using both the wide angle camera (WAC) and the narrow angle camera (NAC). The many observations taken since July of 2014 have been used to study the morphology, location, and temporal variation of the comet's dust jets. We analysed the dust monitoring observations shortly after the southern vernal equinox on 2015 May 30 and 31 with the WAC at the heliocentric distance Rh = 1.53 AU, where it is possible to observe that the jet rotates with the nucleus. The role of retinoic acids (RA) on liver fatty acid- binding protein (L-FABP) expression was investigated in the well differentiated FAO rat hepatoma cell line. 9-cis-Retinoic acid (9-ci's-RA) specifically enhanced L-FABP mRNA levels in a time- and dose-dependent manner. The higher induction was found 6 h after addition of 10 -6 M 9-CK-RA in the medium. RA also enhanced further both L-FABP mRNA levels and cytosolic L-FABP protein content induced by oleic acid. This chapter analyzes the contribution to the debates on labor and immigration of a group of Jewish academicians and reformers who, during the second half of the Progressive Era, explicitly took a stance against the racialist and eugenic rhetoric of the period. This group includes first-rank economists like Edwin R. A. Seligman, Jacob H. Hollander, and Emanuel A. Goldenweiser; influential field specialists such as Isaac A. Hourwich and Isaac M. Rubinow; and relatively less known figures like Max J. Kohler and Samuel K. Joseph. By focusing on the voices of these dissenters, this chapter enriches the emerging picture of Progressive Era eugenic and racial thought.

The new General Data Protection Regulation has created a new legal framework that aims to radically change the current model, giving users greater powers to control their data. A good example of this is the express statement, and for the first time, of the right to be forgotten, which allows citizens to digitally erase their data when other fundamental rights are endangered.

In that way, it shows which has been the legislator´s solution about the use of assisted reproduction tecniques by homosexual women couples. Likewise, it studies which resolutions on the matter have been more relevant in the last years. The relationship that the parents have with each other is one of the factors to take into consideration when adopting or not the modality of shared custody and custody after a situation of family crisis. To deny the shared modality if there was no good relationship between the parents was the rule until relatively recent dates. With the entry into force of local laws as well as the change in jurisprudence, the tendency that remains is to consider that it will no longer be enough that there is this bad relationship but will have to be a situation of high confrontation so that this situation may be grounds for denial of the shared custody regime.
