Kryzys parlamentaryzmu a majowy zamach stanu w aspekcie bezpieczeństwa narodowego
2017
Kryzys parlamentaryzmu i przewrót majowy, zamykają okres, w którym sejm stanowił organ ostatecznie decydujący o składzie i istnieniu kolejnych rządów. Formalną zmianę we wzajemnym usy…

Parliamentarians voiced competing counterarguments about the legitimacy of these demonstrations, on the one hand, and the legitimacy of the nuclear ene…

One such crucial phase in re-evaluating and redefining conceptions of democracy in Germany was the second half of the 1990s, when a vigorous anti-nuclear movement arose. In the German federal parliament, members had to explain their understandings of German democracy. The tradition of liberal, representative democracy was in a conflict …

2012
With the use of newspapers, manuscripts, letters and speeches, the article analyses the admission of Sicilian Catholic deputies in the first national Parliament, like Emerico Amari, Vito d’Ondes Reggio and Gregorio Ugdulena. It underlines their political programs, beliefs and the idea of political representation as an action that was in the best interest of the represented people. In the background there was a steady claim to Legazia Apostolica that could have continued to exist only in a system of regional autonomy. According to the Sicilian deputies, the national deputy’s mandate had to be based on administrative freedom and there was a need for institutional solutions to ensure the prosp…
