The paper presents an interview with Boa Mistura, a multidisciplinary Madrid art collective that works all over the world and creates urban works based on the use of anamorphosis and the visual perception of urban spaces.The Boa Mistura projects are “site specific”, they are designed for a specific space and place. Comparison of impact characteristics of different ice hockey arena dasher boards

During last years the incidence and severity of ice hockey related concussions have been increased and, hence, something should be done to stop this growth. The main aim of this study was to find out how dasher board materials and structures affect impact characteristics and, thereby, the risk of concussions. The measurements were divided into two parts; in the first part, the physiological characteristics of body checks were determined in real game measurements, and the second part, consisted of simulation of body checks in the laboratory. Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) is one of th e most common effects of aging in men. Epidemiologists estimate that about one quarter of all men over 50 years of age suffer from BPH-derived voiding symptoms. Future demographic developments, with higher relative shares of older people, will increase the socioeconomic impact of this disease. Polder et al. (1994) calculated for the Netherlands that the treatment costs of BPH will double by 2035. Office visits for BPH related symptoms increased in the USA from 1.4 million in 1990 to 6 million in 1995, reflecting the increased public awareness of the problem and the increased desire for treatment (Kaplan et al. 1996).

This essay is meant as an introduction to the body of Cronenberg's work up to and including Spider. It is an attempt to analyze what Cronenberg calls his mission in aesthetic and ethical terms, Cronenberg having admitted to Serge Grünberg that he wanted to participate in changing contemporary norms by encouraging the spectator to see something beautiful when his initial reaction is repulsion. I argue that the utopian/dystopian aspect of the diegeses of Cronenberg's early films becomes a structuring element in his later films. Finland makes an interesting case study for the news media on public’s images and opinions (Carroll & McCombs, 2003) for several reasons. First, the news media in Finland is dominated by one major newspaper (cf. Ainamo, 2003), and it is interesting to see whether there is great consensus in public opinion due to this homogeneity (for opposing views, see Moring 2005). Second, Finland is a relatively small country (5 million inhabitants) for both business and media, and it could be speculated that the news media’s effects are less visible than in larger countries (where diffusion of news occurs directly via social contagion).
