Veco ļaužu kustību un koordinācijas traucējumu dēļ ir lielākas iespējas gūt traumas kā gados jaunākiem cilvēkiem. Visbiežākie traumu veidi ir lūzumi un smadzeņu satricinājumi, kas ļauj secināt par kaulu veselības stāvokli un iegūto traumu smagumu. Bērnības traumas, traumas simptomu saistība ar ēšanas uzvedību un negatīvu komunikāciju ģimenē par ēšanas uzvedību pusaudžiem 11 - 16 gadu vecumā

Pētījuma mērķis ir noskaidrot, vai bērnībā piedzīvotajai traumatiskajai pieredzei, izjustajiem traumas simptomiem, negatīvajai komunikācijai par ēšanas uzvedību pastāv saistība ar ēšanas uzvedību. Papildus pētījumā tika apskatītas dzimumatšķirības un izmainītas ēšanas uzvedības biežumi. Pētījumā piedalījās 726 pusaudži (369 – meitenes, 344 – zēni, 13 – nenorādot dzimumu) vecumā no 11 līdz 16 gadiem, 5. un 9. klases skolēni. Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot vai pastāv saistība starp bērnībā piedzīvotas vardarbības pieredzi, traumas simptomiem, paškaitējošo uzvedību un pašnāvības domām, kādas ir šo saistību dzimumatšķirības un vai pastāv atšķirības starp paškaitējošas uzvedības veidiem un biežumiem dažādos vecumposmos. Pētījumā piedalījās 184 respondenti (109 sievietes un 75 vīrieši) vecumā no 18 – 64 gadiem. Pētījuma mērķis bija izpētīt kādas saistības pastāv starp depresijas simptomu izteiktību, bērnībā pārciesto nelabvēlīgas pieredzi un agrīnajām neadaptīvām shēmām un noskaidrot, vai bērnības nelabvēlīgas pieredzes rādītāji paredz agrīno neadaptīvu shēmu radītājus un, savukārt, vai agrīno neadaptīvo shēmu rādītāji paredz depresijas simptomu izteiktību personām ar diagnosticētu depresiju un psihiski veselām personām. PURPOSE: To evaluate the role and effectiveness of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) in blunt diaphragmatic injuries by reviewing the literature and our experience in three cases. MATERIALS AND METHODS: We reviewed the medical records and MRI findings of three patients with diaphragmatic injury due to blunt abdominal trauma. All patients were previously examined with chest X-ray and CT and later with MRI at our institution. Coronal and sagittal SE TI-w and fast SE T2-w sequence images were acquired.
