AbstractThe article addresses Giorgio Agamben’s critical commentary on the global governance of the Covid-19 pandemic as a paradigm of his political thought. While Agamben’s comments have been criticized as exaggerated and conspiratorial, they arise from the conceptual constellation that he has developed starting from the first volume of his Homo Sacer series. At the centre of this constellation is the relation between the concepts of sovereign power and bare life, whose articulation in the figure of homo sacer Agamben traces from the Antiquity to the present. The article is an attempt to describe the poet’s vision of human destiny, history and transcendence. Analysing poems from two poetry volumes I endeavour to present Busza’s philosophy. The poet notes and appreciates science and scientifi c achievements as well as civilisational development, although he realises that they may be dangerous for human spirituality and potentially lead to catastrophe.

O presente artigo aborda a crítica de Schopenhauer ao Esquematismo Transcendental de Kant, evidenciando que tal crítica necessita ser compreendida inicialmente como uma modificação no uso dos termos da linguagem kantiana, isto é, considera-se importante não separar a crítica do conteúdo da crítica acerca da terminologia, para que essas inflexões possam ser compreendidas em seu próprio contexto.
