Tämä tutkielma käsittelee kasvuyrittäjyyttä. Tutkielman tarkoituksena on kartoittaa kasvuyrittäjyyden keskeisiä käsitteitä ja pyrkiä muodostamaan käsitys kasvuyrittäjyyden teorioista. Luonteeltaan tutkielma on etsinnällinen ja teoriaa testaava. Tutkielman empiirisessä osiossa tarkastellaan kasvuyrittäjiä ja -yrityksiä kvantitatiivisten menetelmien avulla, kasvuyrittäjyyttä tarkastelevan 1505 yrittäjävastaajan näytteen osalta. Changes of meaning due to changes of articles: A study of singular count nouns in post-verbal position in Italian

'Essi fecero un muro' vs. 'Essi fecero muro': on the surface, these Italian sentences differ only for the presence of an article before the post-verbal noun (PVN) 'muro', literally 'wall'. Despite this minor divergence, their VPs vary greatly in meaning: the former can be rendered as 'They built a wall', the latter as 'They put up resistance'. In Italian, many other nouns behave as 'muro' does above. The meanings come from distinct structures: PVNs preceded by an article are direct objects. Bare PVNs, at times the very same noun, can either pass tests for direct object-hood or show distinct syntactic ties with the verb.

In many industrial processes the presence of zinc in the wastewater may represent an obstacle to its high efficient regeneration. This is the case of the treatment of spent pickling solutions aiming the recovery of hydrochloric acid via pyrohydrolysis techniques. Hydrochloric spent pickling solutions from steel processing contain relevant amount of metals such as iron (Fe) and zinc (Zn) that may significantly affect recovery of hydrochloric acid (HCl) through pyrohydrolysis. Recovering of zinc(II) from spent pickling solutions by liquid-liquid extraction

Hydrochloric acid can be successfully recovered from spent pickling liquors with high efficiencies via pyrohydrolysis techniques. In the pickling solution feed, other metallic ions are typically present besides iron (mainly Fe2+) such as zinc(II). In order to avoid undesirable effects, zinc(II) has to be removed, because zinc chloride evaporates and sticks to the reactor walls, as well as it contaminates iron oxides product1.
