Employees’ creative idea enactment is critical for organizational creativity assessment and innovation implementation. In the paper, we want to develop and verify a moderated chain mediation model to explore the impact of supervisor developmental feedback on the enactment of employees’ creative ideas, and to investigate the moderating role of psychological empowerment further. Strain hardening in liquid-particle suspensions

The behavior of a liquid-particle suspension induced to sheared motion was analyzed by numerical simulations. When the velocity (strain) of the suspension began to increase, its viscosity first stayed almost constant, but increased then rapidly to a clearly higher level. This increase in viscosity is shown to be related to formation of clusters of suspended particles. Clusters are shown to increase the viscosity by enhanced momentum transfer though clustered particles. This is the mechanism behind the strain-hardening phenomenon observed in small-strain experiments on liquid-particle suspensions.

Photocatalytic nano-composite architectural lime mortar for degradation of urban pollutants under solar and visible (interior) light

Abstract Recent advances in nano-technology and nano-additives can give enhanced properties to natural hydraulic lime (NHL), creating a multifunctional material. We have prepared a novel nanocomposite, made of a commercial mortar with 1 wt% and 5 wt% added titania nanoparticles (NPs). These TiO 2 NPs are themselves doped with 1 mol% silver, to give the material enhanced photocatalytic and antimicrobial properties. The Large Observatory For x-ray Timing (LOFT) was studied within ESA M3 Cosmic Vision framework and participated in the final down-selection for a launch slot in 2022-2024. Thanks to the unprecedented combination of effective area and spectral resolution of its main instrument, LOFT will study the behaviour of matter under extreme conditions, such as the strong gravitational field in the innermost regions of accretion flows close to black holes and neutron stars, and the supra-nuclear densities in the interior of neutron stars. Tutkielmassa tarkastellaan, millä tavalla ympäristö- ja luontokäsitteitä käytetään poliittisen kamppailun välineinä ydinvoiman lisärakentamisesta käytävässä keskustelussa. Lisäksi tutkitaan, millaisia käsitteenmäärittelyjä ja rajanvetoja ydinvoimakeskusteluun osallistuvat eri toimijat käyttävät hyväkseen yrittäessään vaikuttaa ydinvoimapoliittiseen päätöksentekoon. Kysymyksiä motivoi tutkimuksessa avattava lähtökohta, jonka mukaan ympäristö ja luonto ovat poliittisia käsitteitä, jolloin niitä voidaan käyttää hyväksi poliittisessa puheessa.
