Nuorten mielenterveysongelmat ovat lisääntyneet viime vuosina hälyttävästi. Terveyden ja hyvinvoinnin laitos kertoo tutkimusten osoittavan, että noin 20–25% nuorista kärsii jostain mielenterveyden häiriöstä. Nämä ovat koululaisten ja nuorten aikuisten yleisimpiä terveysongelmia. Eläketurvakeskuksen mukaan masennus on suurin työkyvyttömyyttä aiheuttava yksittäinen asia. Näiden syiden takia Suomessa on tärkeää panostaa mielenterveyden ja mielen hyvinvoinnin edistämiseen ja ennaltaehkäisyyn, ja mielen hyvinvointi onkin omana kehitysalueenaan SOTE-uudistuksessa. This study investigated whether beneficial intervention effects on burnout and mindfulness skills diffuse and facilitate the long-term development of different levels of subjective well-being: experiential (perceived stress), eudaimonic (psychological and social well-being), and evaluative (life satisfaction). Participants were Finnish employees with notable burnout (n = 105, 80% women). ABSTRACT: In this study, the influence of the preparation technique (ball milling, spray drying, and film casting) of a supersaturated amorphous dispersion on the quality of solubility determinations of indomethacin in polyvinylpyrrolidone was investigated by means of statistical analysis. Tämän laadullisen tapaustutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli selvittää millaista ja missä määrin yhteisöllisyyttä koettiin Jyväskylän Musica-kuorossa tutkimuksen tekemisen hetkellä (keväällä 2009). Musica-kuoro on sekakuoro, joka koostuu pääosin opiskelijoista ja jota johtaa Pekka Kostiainen. Tutkimuksen keskeisiksi käsitteiksi muodostuivat yhteisöllisyys, sosiaalinen pääoma sekä hyvinvointi. Sosiaalisen pääoman teoriasta tukeuduin Putnamin (1993) teoriaan, jossa luottamus, sosiaalinen verkosto ja vastavuoroisuuden normit nousevat etusijalle.
