However, association of physical inactivity during the transition between childhood and adulthood with glucose metabolism is unknown. AbstractCachexia is a debilitating wasting syndrome and highly prevalent comorbidity in cancer patients. It manifests especially with energy and mitochondrial metabolism aberrations that promote tissue wasting. We recently identified nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+) loss to associate with muscle mitochondrial dysfunction in cancer hosts. Accumulating evidence show that exercise and diet interventions are associated with improved sleep quality. Studies investigating the effects of exercise and dieting on circulating metabolomics in people with sleep disorders, particularly insomnia, are scarce. The present study is a part of a 6-month randomized lifestyle intervention on sleep disorder subjects. Tutkimus tarkastelee tarkkaavaisuushäiriöisten aikuisten ammatillista toimijuutta. Tutkimuksen tavoitteena on lisätä ymmärtämystä tarkkaavaisuushäiriön vaikutuksesta työelämässä sekä lisätä keskustelua ammatillista toimijuutta tukevien ratkaisujen lisäämiseksi työelämässä. Tutkimusaineisto hankittiin seitsemässä teemahaastattelussa. Informantteina oli seitsemän 19–49-vuotiasta naista, jotka kaikki olivat saaneet tarkkaavaisuushäiriödiagnoosin aikuisiällä ja olivat työelämässä. Aineisto analysoitiin laadullisella sisällönanalyysilla. Tarkkaavaisuushäiriöisten aikuisten ammatillinen toimijuus näyttäytyy tässä tutkimuksessa vahvana.
