Our study is based on interviews with cultural mediators who work with NGOs and other hosting humanitarian organizations based on this extreme land of Europe. We intend to verify, through our interviews, what are the major cultural problems (Katan 2014 [1999]) in translation, the level of manipulation and the risks that translators must assume to accomplish their task.
