The present review, covering the literature up to 2006, reports the chemistry and the biological activities of the diterpenoids occurring in the aerial parts of species belonging to the genera Leonotis and Leonurus, family Lamiaceae.

Il genere Stephanotis (famiglia delle Asclepiadaceae ) comprende cinque specie di piante rampicanti, sempreverdi, originarie del Madagascar. La più nota ed apprezzata è la specie S. floribunda Brongn., i cui fiori tubulosi, bianchi, leggermente carnosi, riuniti in ombrelle ascellari, sbocciano da maggio ad ottobre emanando un intenso e gradevole profumo. Antioxidant activity and chemical composition of three Tunisian Cistus: Cistus monspeliensis Cistus villosus and Cistus libanotis

The chemical composition of three rockrose Cistus species, Cistus monspeliensis, Cistus libanotis and Cistus villosus, collected in Tunisia, was studied by HPTLC, focusing on the terpenes and phenols constituents. Diterpenes of Cistus are important as the main constituents of the leaf sticky aromatic resin, known as labdanum, which are highly appreciated in perfumery. Polyphenols in the methanolic extracts of each species were identified, quantified as total and as flavonoids and tannins, and tested for antioxidant activity. Bakalaura darba tēma ir ’’古琴 gucjiņ nošu pieraksta nozīme ķīniešu mūzikas vēsturē’’. Gucjiņ ir viens no senākajiem ķīniešu mūzikas instrumentiem. Tā nošu pieraksts un instrumentspēles apgūšana ir sarežģīta. Līdz mūsdienām saglabājušies gucjiņ nošu pieraksta dokumenti un to kopijas ir aktuāls pētniecības temats, kas ataino nošu pieraksta un mūzikas teorijas attīstību. Tajos joprojām ir daudz neskaidras informācijas, jo daži skaņdarbi ir pat vairāk nekā 1000 gadu seni, tādēļ viedokļi par to izpildījumu ir dažādi.
