Therefore, it is important to develop methods that would allow simultaneous evaluation of both molecular delivery efficiency and cell viability. This study presents Forster resonance energy transfer (FRET)-based method that allows molecular transfer and cell viability evaluation in a single measurement by employing two common fluorescent dyes, namely, ethidium bromide and trypan blue. The droplet was exposed to various ambient relative humidity conditions (11.3%, 43.2%, 68.9% and 75.5%). Two types of liquid were investigated: distilled water and water containing nutritive substances (salmon “juice”). Without standard cellular reagents, it is difficult to compare results over time and across institutions. The data presented in this article are related to the research paper entitled “Intensified mitophagy in skeletal muscle with aging is downregulated by PGC-1alpha overexpression in vivo” (Yeo et al., 2019). The data explained the surgical procedure of in vivo local transfection by electroporation method in aged mouse tibialis anterior muscle, and plasmid DNA preparation and verification protocol. The data also showed the transfection efficiency levels of GFP or GFP-tagged PGC-1alpha through immunohistochemistry method for frozen muscle cross-sections.

Toward a Theoretical Framework of Corporate Social Irresponsibility: Clarifying the Gray Zones Between Responsibility and Irresponsibility

In this conceptual article, we argue that defining corporate social responsibility (CSR) and corporate social irresponsibility (CSI) as opposite constructs produces a lack of clarity between responsible and irresponsible acts. Furthermore, we contend that the treatment of the CSR and CSI concepts as opposites de-emphasizes the value of CSI as a stand-alone construct. Thus, we reorient the CSI discussion to include multiple aspects that current conceptualizations have not adequately accommodated.
