Three Stages of Consumers’ Multi-Stage Dichotomic Switching Process Pre-Switch, switch, and post-switch

This research examines why and how consumers switch their mobile phones. We propose a framework that is grounded on decision-making and motivational theories and draws on the findings from a multinational qualitative survey on consumers’ mobile phone switching process. We show that consumers’ pre-switching decisions are affected by push and pull factors, their mobile phone selections are based on utilitarian or hedonic values, and their justifications for switching are based on cognition or affect. Artykuł przedstawia problemy związane z pojęciem „stylizacji gwarowej” i rozbieżnościami w interpretacji zjawiska, jakie odnajdujemy w literaturze przedmiotu. The curriculum is seen as a key steering document for teaching and learning. In Finland, its latest reform from 2014 highlights the importance of pupil’s learning rather than teaching. This article describes the learner-centered approach of the Finnish National Core Curriculum for Basic Education. Expertise and becoming conscious of something

Becoming conscious refers to how new mental content emerges in the mind. To understand this phenomenon, we studied how people experience graffiti by thinking aloud. In protocols, we found three types of becoming conscious: experiencing emotional and perceptual content directly linked to a perceivable object, non-perceivable or apperceived information content, and transformation and restructuring processes. Föreliggande studie har ett sociokulturellt och dialogiskt perspektiv på språkinlärning. Det huvudsakliga syftet med studien är att bättre förstå den komplexa interaktionen mellan inlärare och lärare i språkklassen. Ett annat syfte utgörs av en önskan att utveckla kurserna i franska vid yrkeshögskolan Arcada. Inlärarna utgjordes av vuxna yrkeshögskolestuderande och språket som studerades var fritt valbart. I studien kartlades 108 studenters åsikter om olika ramfaktorers inverkan på lärmiljön och lärprocessen. Dialogicality in teaching process drama : three narratives, three frameworks

This case study explores dialogicality in teaching process drama through the narratives and practices of three experienced drama teachers of the Open University. Dialogue is understood here in the context of ‘I-Thou’ attitude and as the phenomenon of heteroglossia. The analyses of the videotaped reflective interviews with the teachers and process dramas revealed a polyphonic picture of dialogicality in the teaching process, in which juxtapositions of communion and alterity are favoured. These findings may help drama teachers to become more conscious about the challenges and possibilities of generating a fluid and energised dialogicality in process drama. peerReviewed
Digital Documenting Practices : Collaborative Writing in Workplace Training

The present article examines collaborative writing in organizational consulting and training, where writing takes place as part of a group discussion assignment and is carried out by using digital writing technologies. In the training, the groups use digital tablets as their writing device in order to document their answers in the shared digital platform.
