Hier werden drei Gerechtigkeitsprinzipien definiert, mit deren Hilfe versucht wird, das Gerechtigkeitsniveau des französischen und des amerikanischen Bildungssystems miteinander zu vergleichen, d.h. zu entscheiden, welches der beiden Systeme die Konkretisierung jedes dieser Prinzipien am stärksten begünstigt. Identité et espace chez André Brink: Looking on Darkness, Rumours of Rain et Imaginings of Sand

This article explores André Brink's conception of identity in terms of space. Examining three novels which all revolve around a first-person narrator exploring his/her own identity, Looking on Darkness, Rumours of Rain and Imaginings of Sand, it shows that Brink's conception of identity is both spatial and familial: characters try to become "rooted" in South African soil, but this rooting process is achieved only in the post-apartheid novel, Imaginings of Sand. A brief comparison with Toni Morrison's Song of Solomon tries to shed light on the source of Brink's spatial conception of identity.

Children’s Learning and Generalization of Novel Concepts with Comparison Designs

Teaching a new word to children usually consists of the concomitant presentation of its phonological form and an example. It is then expected that they will be able, from this unique example, to generalize the new word to other entities of the same category. They must therefore understand which properties of the example are relevant to correctly generalize the new word (Murphy, 2002). The main objective of this thesis work is to better understand the learning situations of a new concept and its generalization to new stimuli. 05007; Sans développer à nouveau les théories de la justice, il est intéressant de s'intéresser à l'une d'elle en particulier, pour voir comment de façon instrumentale, il est possible de mesurer cette équité, grâce à la construction d'un indicateur particulier. La perspective adoptée par Sen notamment, permet de mesurer la justice par la proportion d'individus se situant sous un seuil. Au niveau du système éducatif, l'approche adoptée consiste à penser "qu'aucun élève ne doit quitter le système éducatif au dessous d'un seuil minimum de compétences pour vivre une vie décente dans une société moderne".
