In the Polish lexicography, there have appeared newer types of dictionaries, including the ones derived from or modelled on earlier lexicographic works. Their evaluation reąuires that objective criteria for a comparative description of dictionaries be developed. In this paper, the author argues that a dictionary constitutes a specific narration (meta-expression) about language reality, and that is why it should be possible to explore any dictionary using a framework modelling all and any expressions produced by language users. We report a newborn girl with intrachromosomal triplication of 3q25.3 --> q29 (mosaicism) who died at the age of 3.5 weeks due to her malformations. Napisania niniejszego artykułu podjęto się z uwagi na istniejący od czasu wprowadzenia ustawy o dozorze elektronicznym (2007 r.) problem stosowania kary pozbawienia wolności w systemie dozoru elektronicznego w praktyce. W Polsce z systemu dozoru elektronicznego korzysta obecnie jedynie około 30% całkowitej przewidzianej do odbywania kary w ten sposób liczby skazanych. Pomimo funkcjonowania od 12 lat ustawa wciąż wymaga poprawek. Autorka zaprezentowała problematykę zastosowania arteterapii w oddziaływaniach resocjalizacyjnych w kontekście trzech grup opinii: pracowników służby więziennej odbywających szkolenia z zakresu arteterapii, skazanych uczestniczących w zajęciach arteterapeutycznych w zakładach karnych, a także studentów kierunku pedagogika resocjalizacyjna, którzy przygotowując się do wykonywania zawodu, mają możliwość podczas studiów nabyć wiedzę i doświadczenie dotyczące możliwości zastosowania arteterapii w projektowaniu działań resocjalizacyjnych dla osób nieprzystosowanych społecznie. Całość dopełniają doniesienia z badań znanych polskich naukowców.

Child-Centered and Teacher-Directed Practices in Two Different Countries: A Descriptive Case Study in Finnish and Japanese Grade 1 Classrooms

This descriptive case study examined how teaching practices were evidenced in Grade 1 classrooms in two different cultural and educational contexts, Finland and Japan. Teachers’ teaching practices were video-recorded in 53 classrooms in Finland and six classrooms in Japan and rated with the Early Childhood Classroom Observation Measure by trained investigators. Four Finnish teachers and two Japanese teachers having the highest scores in either child-centered or teacher-directed practices were selected for a descriptive case study to take a closer look at how teaching practices in terms of management, climate, and instruction are evidenced in authentic classroom situations.
