Artykuł ma charakter przeglądowy. Autor omawia społeczno-kulturowe podłoże zmian językowych wywołanych przez powojenne ruchy migracyjne, przesiedlenia ludności i przemiany społeczno-ustrojowe. Prezentuje poszczególne kategorie ludności, które zasiedliły Ziemie Zachodnie i Północne, pod względem demograficznym, kulturowym i językowym. Wskazuje na sytuację ludności autochtonicznej i jej rolę w procesie integracyjnym. Analizuje przyczyny i uwarunkowania zmian o charakterze ogólnopaństwowym, lokalnym i indywidualnym. Porusza zagadnienie definicji terminu integracja językowa i ewolucji tego pojęcia. Przedstawia rozwój metodologii i dokonania badawcze.

The metaphysical principle of "obiective interiority" in Sciacca's thought involves an interconnection between freedom and time through which thought experiences the unquestionable reality of "spirit". Accordings to this perspective, this essay attempts to recall the possible inherence of this interconnection to the essential elements of Bergson's "metaphysics of experience", so that it becomes possible to point out a comparation between the ideas of two "untimely" thinkers.

The focus on island contexts stems from the fact that they present peculiarities related not only to the morphology of the territory but also to the economic and social system that characterises them. The territory of the European Union includes more than 3,000 islands in the Pacific, Atlantic and Indian Oceans, the Baltic Sea, the North Sea, the Mediterranean Basins and the Caribbean. The paper describes the techniques adopted for the static and seismic retrofitting of the S. Agostino Convent in Corleone (PA), which is classified as II category seismic zone in the Italian Code. In this work many maintenances have been conducted with the use of inox steel and carbon steel. The main works consist in new decks, built with steel - concrete system, a new stair, two elevators and interventions in the masonry active ties with the use of stainless steel ribbons. This last method is named C.A.M.. A lot of details of the verification criteria and of the constructive solutions are showed.
