Zainteresowanie folklorystyki współczesnymi narracjami potocznymi wynika z przedefiniowania przedmiotu badań folklorystycznych. Uznanie folkloru za część kultury, która podlega takim samym przemianom jak cała kultura i jest zjawiskiem społecznie oraz historycznie zróżnicowanym, wymaga doprecyzowania podstawowych pojęć: oralności, kontekstu kulturowego, sytuacji folklorotwórczej, procesu odbioru przekazywanych treści. Oralności nie można bowiem sprowadzać tylko do ustnego (bezpośredniego) sposobu przekazywania treści, ponieważ jest ona także sposobem egzystencji człowieka, poznawania i rozumienia świata. W artykule podjęto próbę doprecyzowania przedmiotu badań genologii medialnej, dystansując się od genologii literaturoznawczej. W dobie konwergencji mediów obserwujemy postępujące zacieranie się granicy pomiędzy informacjami a publicystyką, co w konsekwencji zmienia współczesną konwencję komunikacyjną. Automatic Influences of Priming on Prosocial Behavior

Literature on the automaticity of social behavior indicates that, in some circumstances, priming a concept automatically activates related behavioral schemas. Previous research studies have used priming techniques to increase willingness to help, but most of these have simply measured intention to engage in prosocial behavior rather than real helping behavior. Two different studies investigated the effect of priming the concept of prosocial behavior on real helping behavior. Niniejszy artykuł został poświęcony problematyce nierówności poziomu zaspokojenia potrzeby mieszkaniowej na wsi w Polsce jako podstawowej determinanty poziomu życia. Celem zaprezentowanych w nim badań była próba identyfikacji zróżnicowania sytuacji mieszkaniowej i subiektywnych ocen gospodarstw domowych na wsi oraz porównanie ich z wybranymi obiektywnymi charakterystykami sytuacji materialnej tych podmiotów. Adolescents' engagement profiles and their association with academic performance and situational engagement

This study examined adolescents' engagement profiles and their association with situational engagement and academic performance in lower secondary school settings. The data consisted of 301 Grade 7 students from Finland. By utilizing person-oriented approach with Latent Profiling Analysis on subscales capturing students' overall engagement, four subgroups of students with different overall engagement profiles were identified.
