Reliability results of straylight measurements using the C-Quant

Purpose Assessment of repeatability and reproducibility of straylight measures with the C-Quant straylightmeter (Oculus AG, Germany), effect of age on reliability measures and correlation of measures determined with new methods of scatter determination. Methods Results from different studies will be presented. For repeatability assessment, 20 eyes (age 26.9±2.7 years) were examined with the C-Quant, taking 10 consecutive readings. 5 subjects were also examined on 5 consecutive days to assess reproducibility. Abstract Background Only a few studies have been carried out with a large sample size on the relationship between chronic conditions and hospitalization for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), and there is no research examining recently diagnosed conditions. The categorization of amateur cyclists as research participants: findings from an observational study.

Sampling bias is an issue for research involving cyclists. The heterogeneity of cyclist populations, on the basis of skill level and riding purpose, can generate incorrect inferences about one specific segment of the population of interest. In addition, a more accurate categorization would be helpful when physiological parameters are not available. This study proposes using self-reported data to categorize amateur cyclist types by varying skill levels and riding purposes, therefore improving sample selection in experimental studies. Como as práticas ecológicas e o desperdício de alimentos influenciam o capital de marca do restaurante?

Resumen El presente trabajo tuvo por objetivo evaluar la incidencia de las prácticas verdes, la innovación sostenible y el manejo del desperdicio alimentario en la construcción del capital de marca de los restaurantes. A partir de una investigación cuantitativa dirigida a responsables de restaurantes en Ecuador, se obtuvieron 120 cuestionarios válidos que permitieron estimar un modelo de ecuaciones estructurales a través de la regresión de mínimos cuadrados parciales. Efeitos da sustentabilidade e valor logístico nas relações entre empresas de transporte marítimo

Resumen El objetivo de este trabajo fue analizar cómo la sostenibilidad (económica, social y ambiental), bajo el enfoque de triple línea base, afecta la calidad de servicio, el valor logístico y la satisfacción en empresas del sector marítimo. Se propone un modelo teórico que se contrasta con la información suministrada por una muestra de 50 responsables de empresas (transitarios, importadores y exportadores) en Panamá.
