Players' progression through GraphoGame, an early literacy game: Influence of game design and context of play

Researchers of serious games frequently investigate outcomes of play but overlook the underlying game-design components that drive those outcomes. In this paper, I aim to show how game design and context of play influence progression through GraphoGame, an early-literacy game. This is done by means of two intersecting studies. The first study shows how the game can be represented by a model that explicitly hypothesizes how the interaction between the player and the game drives progression. International audience; This paper presents a method based on shape-context and statistical measures to match interventional 2D Trans Rectal Ultrasound (TRUS) slice during prostate biopsy to a 2D Magnetic Resonance (MR) slice of a pre-acquired prostate volume. Accurate biopsy tissue sampling requires translation of the MR slice information on the TRUS guided biopsy slice. In diagnosing sleep disorders, sleep stage classification is a very essential yet time-consuming process. Various existing state-of-the-art approaches rely on hand-crafted features and multi-modality polysomnography (PSG) data, where prior knowledge is compulsory and high computation cost can be expected.
