The wide-ranging Eurasian common lizard Zootoca vivipara (Lichtenstein, 1823) is remarkably uniform morphologically but highly varied in its karyotype. Previous studies have revealed two distinctly different chromosomal forms of Z. v. vivipara in the Baltic basin. Moreover, a zone of secondary contact between these forms has been localized on the southern Baltic Sea seashore. Intraspecific karyotype diversity for Z. vivipara and new zones of secondary contact have recently been suggested for other parts of the Baltic Sea seashore. Fuzzy Systems Based on Multispecies PSO Method in Spatial Analysis

We present a method by using the hierarchical cluster-based Multispecies particle swarm optimization to generate a fuzzy system of Takagi-Sugeno-Kang type encapsulated in a geographical information system considered as environmental decision support for spatial analysis. We consider a spatial area partitioned in subzones: the data measured in each subzone are used to extract a fuzzy rule set of above mentioned type. We adopt a similarity index (greater than a specific threshold) for comparing fuzzy systems generated for adjacent subzones.

Abstract In this paper we consider repeated coalitional games with transferable utilities (TU) over networks. Namely, we consider a set of n players that have to distribute among themselves a vector of rewards (one for each player). In our network version there is no coordinator allocating the rewards, but the agents have to agree on a common time-averaged vector by updating the local estimates of the reward vector. Long-range, high-altitude Unoccupied Aerial System (UAS) operations now enable in-situ measurements of volcanic gas chemistry at globally-significant active volcanoes. However, the extreme environments encountered within volcanic plumes present significant challenges for both air frame development and in-flight control. As part of a multi-disciplinary field deployment in May 2019, we flew fixed wing UAS Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) over Manam volcano, Papua New Guinea, to measure real-time gas concentrations within the volcanic plume. A note on some fundamental results in complete gauge spaces and application

We discuss the extension of some fundamental results in nonlinear analysis to the setting of gauge spaces. In particular, we establish Ekeland type and Caristi type results under suitable hypotheses for mappings and cyclic mappings. Our theorems generalize and complement some analogous results in the literature, also in the sense of ordered sets and oriented graphs. We apply our results to establishing the existence of solution to a second order nonlinear initial value problem.

Phrasemes reflect habits and customs, traditions, historical facts, social life phenomena and cultural values of a given society. Phrasemes often “live” longer than the image they reflect. Women were and still are a subject of phrasemes. The aim of this paper is an answer to the question if the image of women arising from the Polish and German phraseology in the face of the transformations taking place in the last 40 years in the society has changed and if new phrasemes describing women of the 21st century appeared.

Classic examples include Helicobacter pylori-associated gastric cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma, and inflammatory bowel disease-associated colorectal cancer.
