New Nonlocal Biological Effect: A Preliminary Research

We report here our experimental findings of new nonlocal biological effect measured objectively and quantitatively under blind conditions. The method used includes the steps of providing two parts of quantum-entangled medium, applying one part to a biological system such as a human, contacting the other part with a desired substance such as a medication, and detecting change of a biological parameter with a detecting device. Mechanism of Anesthetic Action: Oxygen Pathway Perturbation Hypothesis

Although more than 150 years have past since the discovery of general anesthetics, how they precisely work remains a mystery. We propose a novel unitary mechanism of general anesthesia verifiable by experiments. In the proposed mechanism, general anesthetics perturb oxygen pathways in both membranes and oxygen-utilizing proteins such that the availabilities of oxygen to its sites of utilization are reduced which in turn triggers cascading cellular responses through oxygen-sensing mechanisms resulting in general anesthesia. Generation of DNA Codes & the Hexagrams of I Ching from the Principle of Existence

In this short paper, the authors briefly discuss their preliminary thoughts on the coding of DNA and the hexagrams of I Ching based on the principle of existence. It is shown that one may mathematically generate the DNA codes from the principle of existence. It is further shown that one may also mathematically generate the hexagrams of Chinese I Ching from the principle of existence.

This paper summarizes experimental support to spin-mediated consciousness theory from various sources including the results of our own. In doing so, we also provide explanations based on this theory to experimental phenomena such as out-of-body experience and sensed presence, quantum-like cognitive functions and optical illusions. Whether one agrees or not with the spin-mediated consciousness theory is for one alone to judge. In any event, the importance of the experimental results mentioned in this paper is obvious: quantum effects play important roles in brain/cognitive functions despite of the denials and suspicions of the naysayer and skeptics.
