Sulawesifulvius thailandicus – a new species of the genus Sulawesifulvius Gorczyca, Chérot & Štys from Thailand (Hemiptera, Heteroptera, Miridae, Cylapinae)
Abstract A new species of the genus Sulawesifulvius, Sulawesifulvius thailandicus Wolski, Yasunaga & Gorczyca, sp. n., is described from Thailand. The present finding also represents the first distribution record in Indochina for the genus. Color adult habitus images for Sulawesifulvius thailandicus and Sulawesifulvius schuhi (type species of the genus), male genital drawings of Sulawesifulvius thailandicus, and scanning electron micrographs of selected structures of Sulawesifulvius schuhi and Sulawesifulvius thailandicus are provided.
A new species of the Genus Hemiophthalmocoris from the Oriental Region (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Miridae: Cylapinae).
Abstract This paper provides the second report of the Cylapinae genus Hemiophthalmocoris Poppius, 1912—H. raunoi sp. nov. outside the Afrotropical Region (Malaysia: Sabah). Scanning electron micrographs of selected structures of Hemiophthalmocoris lugubris Poppius, 1912 are presented. A photograph of the adult of H. raunoi sp. nov. and H. sulawesicus Gorczyca & Cherot, 2002 are given. Illustrations of the male genitalia and dorsal habitus drawing of H. raunoi sp. nov. are provided.
A new genus and species of Cylapinae from Namibia (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Miridae)
Abstract A new genus and species, Linnavuorifulvius cheroti gen. et sp. nov., is described on the basis of specimens collected in Namibia. A dorsal habitus picture, pretarsal structure and genitalia illustrations of the new species are presented. The key to Afrotropical genera of the tribe Fulviini is given.
Redescription and new records of the monotypic genus Trynocoris Herring, 1976 (Heteroptera: Miridae: Cylapinae: Fulviini).
Trynocoris lawrencei Herring, the only representative of the genus Trynocoris and only known from Barro Colorado Island, Canal Zone, Panama, is recorded for the first time from Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama: Chinqui and Ecuador. Redescription of the genus and species are given along with color photographs of the adults, scanning electron micrographs of selected structures of T. lawrencei. Illustrations of the tarsi and male genitalia are presented for the first time.
Cylapofulvidius ChérotGorczyca, 2000-a synonym of Fulvidius Poppius, 1909 (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Miridae: Cylapinae).
The genus Cylapofulvidius Chérot & Gorczyca, 2000 is proposed as a junior subjective synonym of Fulvidius Poppius, 1909 syn. nov. and all members of Cylapofulvidius are transferred to the genus Fulvidius. The genus Fulvidius and its type species F. punctatus Poppius, 1909 are redescribed, and diagnoses of each Fulvidius species, habitus picture of the adult and illustration of male genital structures of most of the treated species are provided. Scanning electron micrographs of selected structures of Fulvidius webbi (Chérot & Gorczyca, 2000) are presented for the first time. A key to species of Fulvidius is provided.
Taxonomic review of the bifenestratus species group of the genus Fulvius Stål with descriptions of two new species (Hemiptera, Heteroptera, Miridae, Cylapinae)
Two new species of the genus Fulvius Stål are described from the Philippines and Papua New Guinea. A taxonomic review of representatives of the F.bifenestratus species group, illustrations of the male genitalia, a color habitus image of each species, and a key to species of the group are provided.

A description of a new species of the genus Peritropisca from Indonesia— P. laticostata sp. nov. and a redescription of P. bituberculata Carvalho & Lorenzato, 1978 are provided. The genus Euchilofulviella Gorczyca, 1999 is proposed as a junior synonym of Rewafulvius Carvalho, 1972 syn. nov. A color habitus picture of the adult and male genitalia drawings of each treated species are provided. A key to the genus Peritropisca is given.
Plant bugs of the tribe Bothriomirini (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Miridae: Cylapinae) from the Oriental Region: descriptions of eight new species and keys to Oriental genera and species of Bothriomiris Kirkaldy, Dashymenia Poppius, and Dashymeniella Poppius
Eight new species of the tribe Bothriomirini are described from the Oriental Region, namely Dashymenia cognata sp. nov., Dashymenia colubrina sp. nov., Dashymenia conspersa sp. nov., Dashymenia tenmalai sp. nov., Dashymenia webbi sp. nov., Dashymeniella spatulatiformis sp. nov., Dashymeniella ulu sp. nov., and Dashymeniella viklundi sp. nov. Five species are redescribed: Bothriomiris dissimulans (Walker), B. lugubris Poppius, B. testaceus Distant, Dashymenia croesus (Distant), and Dashymenia remus (Distant). The genus Trynocoris Herring, 1976 (Heteroptera: Miridae: Cylapinae) is no longer monotypic: T. costaricaensis sp. nov. from Guanacaste, north-western Costa Rica
A revised diagnosis of the genus Trynocoris Herring, 1976 is presented and a new species, Trynocoris costaricaensis sp. nov., is described based on specimens collected in Costa Rica. Colour photographs of the adult and illustrations of the male genitalia are provided for the new species. Scanning electron micrographs of selected structures of the new species are also given.
Two new genera and species of the Fulviini (Hemiptera, Heteroptera, Miridae, Cylapinae) from Madagascar, with a checklist of Madagascan cylapines
Two new genera, each represented by a single new species, Cassisotropis aciformis Taszakowski et al. gen. et sp. nov. and Infernotropis madagascariensis Taszakowski et al. gen. et sp. nov. are described from Madagascar. Photographs and SEM micrographs of the male and female habitus, genital structures and selected morphological structures are presented. The first record of Fulvius anthocoroides (Reuter, 1875) in Madagascar and the checklist of Madagascan cylapines are also provided.
Revision of the plant bug genus Xenocylapidius (Hemiptera, Heteroptera, Miridae, Cylapinae), with descriptions of five new species from Australia and New Caledonia
Abstract The genus Xenocylapidius Gorczyca, 1997 is revised. Five new species: Xenocylapidius acutipennis sp. n., Xenocylapidius ater sp. n., Xenocylapidius bimaculatus sp. n., Xenocylapidius gemellus sp. n., and Xenocylapidius rolandi sp. n. are described from Australia and New Caledonia. Illustrations of the male genitalia, color photographs of dorsal and lateral views of the adults of all species, and key to species of the genus Xenocylapidius are provided.
<p><strong>The Cylapinae (Insecta, Hemiptera, Heteroptera: Miridae) of India: review of the subfamily with description of new species</strong></p>
The subfamily Cylapinae (Insecta, Heteroptera: Miridae) from India is reviewed. Three tribes, seven genera and nineteen species are cited from the country, keyed and described. Six species are described as new: Fulvius kadapaensis sp. nov., Peritropis kodava sp. nov., Peritropis pathaki sp. nov., Peritropis sangai sp. nov., Peritropis yasunagai sp. nov. and Rhinomiris prathapani sp. nov. A new synonymy is published: Peritropis lewisi (Distant, 1904) (valid name) = Peritropis indicus Gorczyca, 2006b (new junior subjective synonym).
Rhinocylapoides brachypterus, a new cylapine genus and species from Malaysia (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Miridae)
Rhinocylapoides brachypterus gen. et sp. nov. is described from Malaysia. Illustrations of the male genitalia, color photographs of the adult, and a habitat photograph of specimens of the new genus are provided.
The first record of the genus Fulvius Stål, 1862 (Heteroptera: Miridae: Cylapinae) from continental China with description of a new species
A new species of the genus Fulvius Stål, 1862 (Heteroptera: Miridae: Cylapinae: Fulviini) is described based on a couple of specimens collected in Yunnan Province in SW China. The genus is also reported from continental China for the first time. Detailed illustrations of the tarsi, the distribution of trichobothria on the metafemur and male genitalia are given, and an image of the dorsal habitus is presented.
