International audience; This collaboration focuses on the data-processing software evolution which implements an editorial function in territorial information systems in various using contexts. It results from collaboration between humanities, social sciences, computer science and information and communication science researchers, and which has been established since 2000 within the ISTI21 and the MSH LEDOUX22 framework. In a previous paper, we summed up the research activities about territorial intelligence since the seventies'. Catalysis method has been developed since 1989 as a scientific tool for territorial intelligence and governance. It is currently undergoing major adjustments that are presented in this paper. Catalysis was immediately concerted as a tool for territorial stakeholders' cooperation and citizen participation in local initiatives .
