Ikan karang merupakan salah satu bio indikator terhadap keberadaan terumbu karang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui komposisi jenis ikan karang, sebaran dan hubungan panjang berat ikan konsumsi di perairan tersebut. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada tanggal 27 oktober – 1 november 2017 di perairan Numfor Timur dan Numfor Barat. Metode yang digunakan untuk pengambilan data adalah dengan pendekatan Line Transect (LIT) dengan kedalaman 3 dan 5 meter di ekosistem terumbu karang menggunakan alat bantu SCUBA dan pengunkuran hasil tangkapan beberapa nelayan. The research doing at Gunung Botak Bay Coastal South Manokwari Regency with objective of research to estimate seagrass density and to estimate rate accumulation of carbon from Enhalus acroides.
