Some Evidence of the Cluster Struture Inside of9Be
Study of internal structures of 9,10Be and 10B in scattering of 4He from 9Be
A study of inelastic scattering and single-particle transfer reactions was performed by an alpha beam at 63 MeV on a 9$Be target. Angular distributions of the differential cross sections for the 9Be(4He,4He')9Be*, 9Be(4He,3He)10Be and 9Be(4He,t)10B reactions were measured. Experimental angular distributions of the differential cross sections for the ground state and a few low-lying states were analyzed in the framework of the optical model, coupled channels and distorted-wave Born approximation. An analysis of the obtained spectroscopic factors was performed.
Study of $^{45}$Ar through (d, p) reaction at SPIRAL
NESTER; International audience; The structure of the neutron-rich nucleus $^{45}$Ar has been investigated through the d($^{44}$Ar,$^{45}$Ar)p transfer reaction. Radioactive beam of $^{44}$Ar at 10 A MeV has been provided by the SPIRAL facility at GANIL. The protons corresponding to a neutron pick-up on bound or unbound states mechanism in $^{45}$Ar nuclei were detected at backward angles by the detector array MUST. The transfer-like ejectiles were detected in the SPEG spectrometer. Level scheme, spin assignments and spectroscopic factors have been deduced for $^{45}$Ar and compared to shell model predictions. Radioactivity of neutron-rich oxygen fluorine and neon isotopes
The $\ensuremath{\gamma}$ radiation and neutrons emitted following the $\ensuremath{\beta}$ decays of ${}^{24}\mathrm{O},$ ${}^{25--27}\mathrm{F},$ and ${}^{28\ensuremath{-}30}\mathrm{Ne}$ have been measured. The nuclides were produced in the quasifragmentation of a 2.8 GeV ${}^{36}\mathrm{S}$ beam, separated in-flight and identified through time-of-flight and energy-loss measurements. The ions were stopped in a silicon detector telescope, which was used to detect the $\ensuremath{\beta}$ particles emitted in their subsequent radioactive decay. Cluster Structure of9Be from3He+9Be Reaction
The study of inelastic scattering and multi-nucleon transfer reactions was performed by bombarding a 9Be target with a 3He beam at an incident energy of 30 MeV. Angular distributions for 9Be(3He,3He)9Be, 9Be(3He,4He)8Be, 9Be(3He,7Be)5He, 9Be(3He,6Li)6Li and 9Be(3He,7Li)5Li reaction channels were measured. Cross sections for channels leading to unbound 5He g.s ., 5Li g.s . and 8Be systems were obtained from singles measurements where the relationship between the energy and the scattering angle of the observed stable ejectile is constrained by two-body kinematics. The 2n-Evaporation Channels In the Fusion of [sup 4,6]He with [sup 206,208]Pb
Excitation functions of the reaction products were measured for the reactions induced by 4,6He projectiles on 206,208Pb targets, leading to the same compound nucleus. This was accomplished by using the stacked‐foil‐activation technique. The identification of the reaction products (accumulated in the Pb targets) was done by their radioactive alp ha decays. The excitation functions for the 2n evaporation channels were obtained at energies below the sub‐Coulomb barrier region. A large value of the fusion cross section was observed in the case of the reaction induced by the weakly bound 6He projectile.
New region of deformation in the neutron-rich 60 24Cr36 and 62 24Cr38
The neutron-rich nuclei 23 60-63V have been produced at GANIL via interactions of a 61.8A·MeV 76Ge beam with a 58Ni target. Beta-decay to 24 60-63Cr has been investigated using combined β- and γ-ray spectroscopy. Half-lives of the 60-63V nuclei have been determined, and the existence of a beta-decay isomer in the 60V nucleus is strongly supported. The observation of low-energy 2+ states in 60Cr (646keV) and 62Cr (446keV) suggests that these isotopes are strongly deformed with β2 ∼ 0.3. This is confirmed by shell model calculations which show the dominant influence of the intruder g and d orbitals to obtain low 2+ energies in the neutron-rich Cr isotopes.
New Insight into the Cluster Structure of $^9$Be by Reactions with Deuteron Beam
International audience; Angular distributions of protons, deuterons, tritons, and alpha particles emitted in the reaction 2H+9Be at Elab=19.5, 25, and 35 MeV were measured to study the structure of 9Be, especially to shed light on the internal clusters and possible cluster transfer of 5He. The experiments were performed at sufficiently high energies to ensure suppression of compound nucleus contribution. Thus, the direct reaction mechanism should be mainly responsible for the measured five-nucleon transfer cross section. The analysis suggests a significant contribution of simultaneous five-nucleon transfer in the reaction channel 9Be (d,4He) 7Li.
Structure of theN=27isotones derived from theAr44(d,p)Ar45reaction
The $^{44}\mathrm{Ar}$($d,p$)$^{45}\mathrm{Ar}$ neutron transfer reaction was performed at $10A$ MeV. Measured excitation energies, deduced angular momenta, and spectroscopic factors of the states populated in $^{45}\mathrm{Ar}$ are reported. A satisfactory description of these properties is achieved in the shell model framework using a new $\mathit{sdpf}$ interaction. The model analysis is extended to more exotic even-$Z$ nuclei down to ${}_{14}^{41}{\mathrm{Si}}_{27}$ to study how collectivity impacts the low-lying structure of $N=27$ neutron-rich nuclei.
Study of the 2n-evaporation channel in the 4,6He+206,208Pb reactions
Abstract Excitation functions of the reaction products were measured for the reactions induced by 4,6 He projectiles on 208,206 Pb targets, leading to the same compound nucleus. Beta-decay half-lives at the N = 28 shell closure
Abstract Measurements of the beta-decay half-lives of neutron-rich nuclei (MgAr) in the vicinity of the N =28 shell closure are reported. Some 22 half-lives have been determined, 12 of which for the first time. Particular emphasis is placed on the results for the Si isotopes, the half-lives of which have been extended from N =25 to 28. Comparison with QRPA calculations suggests that 42 Si is strongly deformed. This is discussed in the light of a possible weakening of the spin–orbit potential.
Beta decay studies of neutron-rich $_{21}$Sc-$_{27}$Co nuclei at GANIL
Abstract The neutron-rich nuclei 2157,58Sc, 2258–60Ti, 2258–60Ti, 2360–62V, 2464–66Cr, 2564–68Mn, 2667–70Fe and 2769–71Co have been produced at Ganil via interactions of a 61.8 A.MeV 76Ge beam with a 58Ni target. Beta-decay studies have been achieved, bringing new half-lives and a better nuclear structure knowledge in this region. These results could help for understanding the overabundances of the neutron-rich stable 58Fe, 64Ni in certain inclusions of meteorites.

Trial for the long neutron counter TETRA using $^{96,97}$Rb radioactive sources
International audience; The TETRA long neutron counter is operated at ALTO ISOL facility behind the PARRNe mass separator. TETRA has been proven to be a unique instrument for measurements of β-decay properties of short-lived neutron-rich nuclei having applications for the nuclear structure and/or astrophysical r-process calculations. A proper calibration of TETRA can allow validation of the experimental procedure used for determination of β-delayed one-neutron emission probabilities (P1n). Decay properties of exoticN≃28 S and Cl nuclei and theCa48/46Ca abundance ratio
Beta-decay half-lives and \ensuremath{\beta}-delayed neutron-emission probabilities of the very neutron-rich nuclei $^{44}\mathrm{S}$ and $^{45--47}\mathrm{Cl}$ have been measured. These isotopes, which lie at or close to the N=28 magic shell, were produced in interactions of a 60 MeV/u $^{48}\mathrm{Ca}$ beam from GANIL (Grand Acc\'el\'erateur National d'Ions Lourds) with a $^{64}\mathrm{Ni}$ target, and were separated by the doubly achromatic spectrometer LISE (Ligne d'Ions Super Epluch\'es). Beta-decay studies of far from stability nuclei near N = 28
Abstract Beta-decay half-lives and β-delayed neutron-emission probabilities of the very neutron-rich nuclei 43 P, 42,44,45 S and 44–46 Cl, 47 Ar, which lie at or close to the N=28 magic shell, have been recently measured through β or β-n time correlation measurement. The results are compared to recent model predictions and indicate a rapid weakening of the N=28 shell effect below 48 Ca. The nuclear structure effects reflected in the decay properties of the exotic S and Cl isotopes may be the clue for the astrophysical understanding of the unusual 48 Ca 46 Ca abundance ratio measured in the solar system.
Investigation of the elastic and inelastic scattering of He-3 from Be-9 in the energy range 30-60 MeV
We have measured the differential cross-sections for the elastic as well as inelastic scattering populating the 2.43[Formula: see text]MeV [Formula: see text] excited state in [Formula: see text] using [Formula: see text] beams at energies of 30, 40 and 47[Formula: see text]MeV on a [Formula: see text] target. The experimental results for the elastic scattering were analyzed within the framework of the optical model using the Woods–Saxon and double-folding potentials. The theoretical calculations for the concerned excited states were performed using the coupled-channel method. The optimal deformation parameters for the excited states of [Formula: see text] nucleus were extracted.
