Pterostilbene Prevents Early Diabetic Retinopathy Alterations in a Rabbit Experimental Model

Oxidative stress generated by diabetes plays a key role in the development of diabetic retinopathy (DR), a common diabetic complication. DR remains asymptomatic until it reaches advanced stages, which complicate its treatment.
