Impact of immunosuppressive therapy on therapy-neutralizing antibodies in transplanted patients with Fabry disease.

Background Inhibitory antibodies towards enzyme replacement therapy (ERT) are associated with disease progression and poor outcome in affected male patients with lysosomal disorders such as Fabry disease (FD). However, little is known about the impact of immunosuppressive therapy on ERT inhibition in these patients with FD. Methods In this retrospective study, we investigated the effect of long-term immunosuppression on ERT inhibition in male patients with FD (n = 26) receiving immunosuppressive therapy due to kidney (n = 24) or heart (n = 2) transplantation. Background The incidence of infectious diseases in the RA ADAPTHERA study by ELISA antibody screening and the differences in infectious distribution in active or low active disease patients was explored. Methods Sera from 88 naive RA patients out of the ADAPTHERA study cohort, disease duration Results 82% RA patients were found to be positive for HSV1 +2 IgG (2% IgM positive), 8% for Adenovirus (IgA), 77% (IgG), and 1% (IgM). 99% for EBV-IgG (no IgM positive). 53% (IgG), and 26% (IgM) for CMV. 38% for HP-IgG and 15% for IgA and 79% for P-B19-IgG (3% IgM). 6% for Borrelia-IgM and 14% for IgG. Abstract The humic monomer catechol was reacted with 14 C-isoproturon and some of its metabolites, including 14 C-4-isopropylaniline, in aqueous solution under a stream of oxygen. Only in the case of 14 C-4-isopropylaniline, incorporation in oligomers, in fulvic acid-like polymers, and in humic acid-like polymers was observed. The main oligomer was identified by mass spectrometry as 4,5-bis-(4-isopropylphenylamino)-3,5-cyclohexadiene-1,2-dione. Oligomers and polymers containing bound 14 C-4-isopropylaniline were subjected to biodegradation studies in a loamy agricultural soil during 55 days by quantifying 14 CO 2 evolved.
