Abstract The state budget for 2013 is characterized by major constraints generated by the date of payment for the loans committed in the previous period, the high level of the payment arrears from the budget to the real economy, the insurance of the money amount required for the operational programs co-financing and by the acceptance of a lower budget deficit than in 2012, with negative consequences for the economic growth and that doesn’t ensure premises for reducing development gaps between Romania and other EU countries. Considerations on the Advantages and Disadvantages of Romania's Accession to the European Union

Abstract After nine years from Romania's accession to the European Union, the advantages are sustained with specific statistical markers, which could have been more positive if the effect of certain identified causes (reduced administrative ability, political instability, extended corruption, high tax evasion etc.) would have been diminished. Counterbalancing the benefits of the accession the opinion polls show the disadvantages.
