Atslēgas konceptu realizācija Latvijas un Čehijas plašsaziņas līdzekļu materiālos 20. gadsimta beigās: maģistra darbs. – Rīga, 2015. – 85 lpp. Maģistra darbs veltīts nozīmīgāko konceptu, kas realizējas 20. gadsimta beigu avīžu tekstos, pētīšanai. Pamatojoties uz Čehijas un Latvijas valsts neatkarības atjaunošanas periodā izdotajām avīzēm, tika konstatēta vairāku aktuālo konceptu realizācija un izveidots izteikumu, kuros tie tiek verbalizēti, korpuss, kā arī tiek analizēta šo konceptu struktūra un verbalizācijas metodes. Lexical Substitution and Paraphasia in Advanced Dementia of the Alzheimer Type

Abstract The paper presents the case study of lexical selection in Alzheimer-type dementia. Lexical substitutions in poem recitation and conversations of a Russian speaker, who suffered Alzheimer-type dementia, were analyzed on the background of the lexical retrieval and slip-of-the-tongue phenomena. The classification of the substitutions is worked out on the basis of the links between a target word and its substitutions. The current context plays an essential role as natural priming for a substitution in a poem recitation. The untranslatability of a text and the non-equivalence of words

This article deals with the current state of development of two main categories of modern translation theory: “untranslatability” and “non-equivalence”. Untranslatability belongs to translation-theoretic universals and is a binary category. The essence of the phenomenon, its nature, as well as such concepts as “translation losses”, “untranslatable units”, “translatological classification of text types” are considered. The differences in the meaning of the concepts “untranslatability” and “non-equivalence” are described. The article objective is to show actuality and pecularity of their manifistation in the context of the Russian and German languages.

The main aim of the article is to examine the grammatical and stylistic functions of the predicative attribute in the poetic work of Nekrasov. The study contributes to the general ‘grammar of poetry’, which has been proposed and developed by Roman Jakobson. The study shows that Nekrasov often used the predicative attribute and it constitutes one of the specific features of his style. Grammatically extended adjectival, participial and adverbial phrases, frequent in Nekrasov’s poetry, cause additional predication, which makes it possible to expand the narrative.
