La identidad a través de la pose, del retrato burgués decimonónico al selfie

[EN] This work articulates some typologies that from the point of view of expression and pose encode the identity of subjects portrayed in the 19th century. We also study how these 19th century typologies survive in the 20th century by virtue of relationships of inheritance and filiation. We will focus on the bourgeois normative portrait, on the artistic portrait and the police portrait, one of the manifestations of otherness. To conclude, we will reflect on the ambivalent nature of selfies, an emergent and genuinely digital typology related most directly with self-portraits, but using codes of expression, function and diffusion which are different from previous ones.

Patients with Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS) are susceptible to developing iron overload as a response to the red blood cell (RBC) transfusions and ineffective hematopoiesis. This iron overload (IOL) is characterized by an increase in oxygen-reactive species accompanied by a decrease in antioxidants, and results in hepatic, cardiac and endocrine disorders, as well as an increased risk of infection. Background Nitric oxide (NO) and its related reactive nitrogen species (RNS) and reactive oxygen species (ROS) are crucial in monocyte responses against pathogens and also in inflammatory conditions. Central to both processes is the generation of the strong oxidant peroxynitrite (ONOO) by a fast reaction between NO and superoxide anion. ONOO is a biochemical junction for ROS- and RNS cytotoxicity and causes protein nitrosylation. Circulating by-products of protein nitrosylation are early biomarkers of inflammation-based conditions, including minimal hepatic encephalopathy in cirrhotic patients (Montoliu et al., Am J Gastroenterol 2011; 106:1629–1637). The aim of this study was to assess the impact of the practice of Boccia (adapted sport) with children aged between 4 and 14 years old with cerebral palsy in rural India and the changes that this implies in social recognition and quality of family life. This study took place between January 2015 and February 2016.
