This paper refers issues connected with webometrics -- science, which allow conducting various researches over model and content of the Internet, especially WWW sites. Webometrics methodology connections with other disciplines and numerous examples of various, sometimes completely different Internet measures were shown. Security of information in IT systems

The aim of the paper is to increase human awareness of the dangers connected with social engineering methods of obtaining information. The article demonstrates psychological and sociological methods of influencing people used in the attacks on IT systems. Little known techniques are presented about one of the greater threats that is electromagnetic emission or corona effect. Moreover, the work shows methods of protecting against this type of dangers. Also, in the paper one can find information on devices made according to the TEMPEST technology. The article not only discusses the methods of gathering information, but also instructs how to protect against its out-of-control loss.
<title>Structure analysis of the Polish academic information society using MDS method</title>

The article presents the methodology of webometrics research and analysis aiming at determining similar features of objects belonging to the Polish information society, which uses the Internet and its www resources for communication purposes. In particular, the analysis applies to the selected Polish technical universities. The research was carried out in several phases - on different data groups - with regards to the Internet space and time changes. The results have been presented in a form of two and three-dimensional topography maps. For the purposes of this analysis, the computer methods of multidimensional scaling were used.
