Scalable Monitoring System for Clouds

Although cloud computing has become an important topic over the last couple of years, the development of cloud-specific monitoring systems has been neglected. This is surprising considering their importance for metering services and, thus, being able to charge customers. In this paper we introduce a monitoring architecture that was developed and is currently implemented in the EASI-CLOUDS project. The demands on cloud monitoring systems are manifold. Jau 70. gados tika atklāts, ka skaistiem, pievilcīgiem cilvēkiem tiek piedēvētas labas īpašības, šis fenomens tika nosaukts par “kas ir skaists, ir labs” stereotipu ,šīs atziņas ir apstiprinājuši vairāki citi pētījumi, tai skaitā kompetences aspektā, tomēr tas nevar tikt attiecināts tādā pašā veidā uz seksuālu izskatu. Pētījuma mērķis ir noskaidrot, vai sieviete, kas izceļ savu seksualitāti ar apģērbu, tiks uztverta kā mazāk kompetenta, salīdzinot ar neitrāli fiziski pievilcīgi apģērbtu sievieti. Pētījumā piedalījās 89 ekonomikas fakultātes studenti no 3 dažādiem virzieniem vecumā no21 līdz 23 gadiem, 40 no kuriem bija vīrieši un 49- sievietes. Tika veikts starpgrupu eksperiments. Stimulmat…
