Phenol removal by pure cultures of Nocardia corallina was studied in a batch reacting system by estimating both the active biomass and the phenol concentration in the liquid during the experiments. A simple kinetic model was tested and the relative constants determined at 37°C.

e12565 Background: Eribulin Mesylate is a non taxane microtubule dynamics inhibitor, approved for heavily-pretreated MBC patients (pts). Methods: This is a multicenter, prospective, single arm study for E-treatment of third line in pretreated MBC pts, conducted in 14 oncology centers in Sicily. All pts had received two previous chemotherapy regimens for MBC. Pts received E at 1.23 mg/m2 on days 1,8 every 3 weeks until progression. Background: In real-world practice, eribulin mesylate provides significant survival benefit, with a manageable safety profile in heavily pretreated patients with metastatic breast cancer (MBC). Methods: In this prospective, open-label, multicentre, observational study we evaluated the effectiveness and tolerability of eribulin as third-line treatment in a homogeneous population.
