That compounds, clips words and the genitive case are areas of Norwegian morphology which in fact are realms of uncertainty for users of the Norwegian language 2. That the uncertainty is not solely a result of English influence 3. That the uncertainty to some extent is due to insufficient knowledge of Norwegian orthography and morphology among Norwegians.
