STRUCTURE AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE RURAL TOURISM NETWORK „BIENVENUE A LA FERME”

This paper presents the main rural tourism networks in France and the forms of rural tourism encountered in this country. In the data presented lies a bibliographic study on the development of rural tourism network "Bienvenue a la ferme" between 1996 and 2013. Data analysis presented highlights rural tourism forms with the most dynamic development in the period considered, given that France is the first European country where the level of organization, diversification and promotion of rural tourism took place.

This paper performs the analysis of the tourism development potential of two sites in the Natura 2000 network. SWOT analysis concerning the potential of tourism development is made, indicating opportunities for lovers of ecotourism: visitors interested in bird species, visitors interested in flora and fauna. Rural Gastronomy Events and Visitors’ Attitude

Abstract This paper presents the events meant to promote Sibiu as a European Gastronomic Region. The collection of data from local public authorities and operators from traditional local gastronomy was carried out. The participation in three gastronomic events organized in the countryside allowed us to observe the number of locals involved in events, exhibitors and visitors. Local gastronomy products have also been identified. The sociological survey among 48 visitors allowed us to pinpoint the profile of people who participate in such events.

THE ATTITUDE AND MOTIVATION OF BUYERS OF TRADITIONAL/ LOCAL/ BIO PRODUCTS IN THE CONTEXT OF AGROTOURISM, IN SIBIU COUNTY, ROMANIA

Based on the statistical data concerning the sheep breeding in district Sibiu and on the information obtained by making investigations markets and fairs where they sell traditional/bio products, the extent was appreciated to which this products are known and desired. Study on Consumer Attitudes for Sheep Meat Consumption

Abstract This paper presents data on sheep breeding in Romania and on a international level. The main objectives of the national breeding program will be presented. A study has been conducted to find out how consumers perceive buying sheep meat and their attitudes towards it. Strong effort is needed to promote the consumption of sheep meat, which will lead to the support of the sheep sector. It is necessary to form a strong consumer preference for sheep meat by communicating the positive (natural product) and durable characteristics of the product.

ISSUES CONCERNING THE TYPOLOGY OF RURAL TOURISTIC PENSIONS FORM MARGINIMEA SIBIULUI, SIBIU COUNTY, ROMANIA

The study was conducted in May-June 2013, in two places in the tourist area called "Mărginimea Sibiului", Sibiu, Romania. The research instrument used was a questionnaire comprising 25 questions and was sent to the owners / managers of pensions (18 people) by 9 people from rural places Sibiel and 9 people from Gura Râului. Abstract In the paper we analyzed the evolution of the number of pig carcasses classified in Romania by the OptiGrade Pro (OGP) semiautomatic method. The analysis was conducted for the period 2009-2015. For this time, the average weight of the carcasses and their quality (thickness of the muscles and the layer of fat) were monitored.
